    For future reference and for new Insiders

    We are getting many Insider threads where the product registration and activation code is invalid or does not work.

    Check the followings as you go
    1. Use US keyboard layout, rather than UK or other English keyboard layout
    2. Double confirm your letters and number
      Do not get characters and numbers mixed as per following~
      'I' and 'l' (Capital I for India and lower case l for Lima), but all P/N and S/N should be in captials
      'O' and '0' (Capital O for Oscar and number 0)
    3. If P/N comes as 'RZ', try 'RC' vice versa
    4. If your Synapse cannot register your product, try using RAZER web Registration
    If the issue is with the activation code, but you have a valid S/N, P/N and activation code of your headset, contact the RAZER Support by clicking here, and click "Contact Support".

    Just a reminder, 7.1 Surround Sound is currently available on 4 headsets

    After receiving a damaged 7.1 activation code damaged, complaining here, the post was deleted and... guess what. Official support came to me, and on private said this:

    > However, lost or damaged activation cards are not covered by Razer's limited warranty.
    Really? This is the OFFICIAL SUPPORT answer?
    I removed from the box, and the scratch code is DAMAGED before I can use it, and this is THE OFFICIAL SUPPORT comment?

    Hello everyone. I just bought a Kraken X.
    I accidentally scratch the code too hard and I can't make up the middle part of it.
    Is there a way I can get a replacement code?

    If you have one of the 4 RAZER headset that support 7.1 SS, the activation code comes in the RAZER box.
    You may contact RAZER support in the support forums for some assistance.

    I followed these steps and absolutely no audio is coming out of my headset. What do I do?

    When I start up my system I get no audio when 7.1 is default device - If I switch to another audio device from the system tray sound icon and then back to 7.1 it suddenly works. Mildly irritating.

    I am using the Razer Base Station v2.

    If the device was purchased via Razer Store, you should receive an activation code email after registering the device. Otherwise, the physical store/reseller should have sent an activation card in your headset's package. Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
