A system recovery stick is used to restore the Razer Blade to its original state. It is often done to help fix persistent software issues you may encounter after installing an application or driver update.

Please note that any damage caused by upgrading or modifying the Razer Blade are not covered by Razer's Warranty Policy. For more information, see Razer's Warranty Policy.

I just wanted to quickly follow-up on this and discuss my experience actually going through a system restore using Razer's provided recovery software and environment. It won't be long, because WOW, was that an incredibly painless and straight-forward process.

I had decided to move forward with a system restore for my mid-2019 Blade 15 (2070MQ, 8750H) after I had encountered some perpetual software bugs following a disk imaging when I installed a larger SSD. I have used the Windows restore environment in the past, and not only did the inbuilt restore environment fail, if I recall correctly it took hours to finally get back into the restore environment.

With Razer's provided installation media, on the other hand, the entire process took less than 30 minutes (with a pleasing and confidence-inspiring GUI running me through the steps). My laptop was up-and-running in no time, and once I completed the battery of Windows updates, my laptop is like-new again.

I have to say, I have been very impressed with Razer's customer service and quality of their products. I daily drive my Blade 15 for both work and personal use, and my interaction with customer support has been excellent.

Thanks again for providing this guide, and if you must go through the system restore process with Razer's installation media, I can't give it enough praise for how quick (and of course successful) the process was in my experience!!! Way to go, Razer! You have one happy customer over here.
