If you can even get a graphics card right now in the first place.

You can if you're fast enough and with deep pockets.
Actually not a viable or logical even to build.

Am i the only one who sees this feature as being unnecessary? I mean if you already have a Blade, everyone just assumes it has a good gpu already, why would you want to have a mini desktop and an external monitor to a laptop for gaming? Isnt compactability one of the main features for a laptop?

Hello SylvanasMage,

This allows you to upgrade an older Razer Blade computer, desktop PC graphics cards use a lot of electricity but have exceptional 3D power.
This avoids buying a full desktop computer. You just need to buy a graphics card.
When you are traveling, you have lightness of the laptop and its great autonomy of operation.
Then when you get home, you plug your Razer Blade into the Razer Core X Chroma to have beautiful ray tracing graphics and have a lot of fun playing as if you were playing on a gaming desktop PC.

But if you have a lot of money I can understand that you would rather have a gaming desktop PC and a Razer Blade when you travel or replace old one for all new Razer Blade 30 series. ^ _ ^

You can use it with a Blade Stealth who doesn't have as much graphic power as a "regular" Blade.
And it's not limited to "gaming" laptop.

That's pretty amazing though. Never really investigated external GPU's, but this definitely has my interest piqued
