Surround Sound 7.1 on Razer Blackshark v2 x makes no difference in surround sound
So I just got my Blackshark v2 x headset and activated the code that I got in my box. The only difference I can hear is that music sounds a little different. The surround sound sounds exactly the same. Did I simply expect too much or is there something wrong?

I'm experiencing the same problem. Unable to determine where sound is coming from when doing surround test.
Solution:
Solution:
- Right click volume icon in the Task Bar, select Sound.
- Select Playback tab.
- Right click Speakers: THX Spatial Audio, select Configure Speakers.
- Change audio channel to 7.1 Surround, select Next.
- Make no changes, select next, next, finish.
- Test in Audio>Mixer in Razer Synapse.

This did not change anything. I also wanted to mention that I use the 7.1 Surround sound app from Razer, not the THX Spatial audio one. I also could not find the Audio tab in Synapse
