    Hi there,

    Let me preface this by stating I contacted Razer's support regarding the issue I'm about to describe. I was told (I'm paraphrasing) that they didn't know what was wrong and didn't have a fix for me. I'm hoping someone will read this and let me know I'm not the only one with this problem.

    It all boils down to this: Somewhere in the middle of the release of Synapse 1.18 it began randomly crashing. I go about my web browsing, gaming, etc. and my Chroma keyboard and mouse pad seem to be working fine with my loaded profile. Suddenly, I'll hit a macro key to perform a function and realize that Synapse has crashed without warning. The icon remains lit in the system tray until I hover over it and it disappears. I then have to restart Synapse and everything resumes as normal until the next random crash.

    I am seeing unhandled exception errors for .NET directly related to Synapse when the crashes occur. The following is an example of the persistent error I receive:

    Application: RzSynapse.exe
    Framework Version: v4.0.30319
    Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
    Exception Info: System.AccessViolationException
    at MS.Win32.UnsafeNativeMethods.DispatchMessage(System.Windows.Interop.MSG ByRef)
    at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.PushFrameImpl(System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherFrame)
    at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.PushFrame(System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherFrame)
    at System.Windows.Application.RunDispatcher(System.Object)
    at System.Windows.Application.RunInternal(System.Windows.Window)
    at System.Windows.Application.Run(System.Windows.Window)
    at Razer.Emily.UI.SynapseApp.Run()
    at Razer.Emily.UI.AppEntryPoint.Main(System.String[])

    These are 1026 event IDs. I am running Windows 10 and cannot uninstall .NET 4. Both Microsoft's repair and validation tools say .NET 4 is in proper order. If the culprit is .NET, the only solution is to reinstall/reset Windows 10. I will do anything but that. I really appreciate any help or ideas!

    Hey @schemeneo really sorry to hear that using macros will cause synapse to crash randomly at times. Would you happen to have a case ID number that I can look into?
