Synapse 2.0 and Orbweaver Chroma

    I have just purchased an Orbweaver from CEX. When i plug the Orbweaver in, Synapse 2.0 says it needs an update which it then fails and tells me to check the internet is connected.

    Is the Synapse 2.0 update server still in operation?

    I have downloaded the latest Synapse 2.0 from Razers website (v2.21.24.41)

    The Orbweaver functions as it should without the software.

    Besides sending it back is there a fix for this?

    1. Uninstall ALL Razer programs and apps, then restart the computer. (used program named Revo Uninstaller) This program will be removed all the way to registry

    2. Delete all Razer folders you can find in C:\Program Files(x86) and C:\Program Data. The Program Data folder is set to hidden by default so you might need to change the folder option first.

    3. Go to the Device Manager. at the top click View, then hit the "Show hidden devices". Then expand "Human Interface Devices".

    4. Right-click on Razer Orbweaver Chroma and select Uninstall device. If you are asked for a confirmation, mark the box next to Delete the driver software for this device and press OK. Delete ALL Razer Orbweaver Chroma drivers.

    5. Expand the "Keyboard" and "Mouse and other pointing devices"

    6. Right-click on Razer Orbweaver Chroma and select Uninstall device.If you are asked for a confirmation, mark the box next to Delete the driver software for this device and press OK. Delete ALL Razer Orbweaver Chroma drivers.

    7. Restart your computer to uninstall the drivers completely. When you returned to the desktop, Download and install the following files:
      If this following software installed you can skip it to the next.

    Didn't work, it goes to update and tells me to check if my internet is connected, turning the firewall off made no difference and now neither my old Orbweaver or Ouroboros will work.

    It's like Windows 7 update.

    Thanks for your help dude, will do. Hopefully they have a complete master file.
