I recently bought some Razer products to increase my gameplay. (World of Warcraft) The problem I'm having is that my new mouse, the Naga Trinity, only seems to show up on Synapse 3.0 but the keypad that I also bought, the Orbweaver Chroma, only shows up on Synapse 2.0. I've tried restarting my machine, unplugging and re-plugging the USB connectors, uninstalling and reinstalling either versions and to no avail do both products show up on the same Synapse app. The mouse works properly as just a mouse would but I have to open up Synapse 3.0 in order to key bind. Is this normal running two different versions of Synapse at the same time?

Please check out the Synapse 3 FAQ page using this link. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Adam, Unfortunately you will not get a strait answer from staff. Instead of answering your post they put a little cookie cutter message there. Not cool indeed.

So to be very clear. Yes, it is normal. I would check out the link from the official staff member above for further information regarding the topic. I will provide this, RAZER will be rolling out updates to come adding more devices to synapse 3.0. So rejoice on that... I have the RAZER BLACKWIDOW CHROMA (OVERWATCH) ed., Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma, NAGA TRINITY, and ORBWEAVER. Ill never play another game without these items.

Sure I am mad about my Orbweaver being 2.0 and not 3.0. I like everything on the same page. But I have everything working flawlessly together. Also just a note make sure you turn Chroma Apps off in 2.0 if its enabled in 3.0 can cause lighting issue with products running 2.0 because 3.0 wants to take priority and not play nice.

Might I also suggest that you download and get Razer Cortex. Btw Happy Halloween!!!

Can I run Synapse 2.0 and 3 at the same time?
Yes, you can run Razer Synapse 2.0 and Razer Synapse 3 at the same time. However, it is recommended that you use only one at a time. If a device is supported by both applications, then it will only be visible on Razer Synapse 3.

Above is straight from the FAQ..
Devs probably need a bit more time to fine tune all of these issues so we can all have a more streamlined experience.

Keep up the good work on rolling all these needed updates out! :)

Yeah I'm a WoW player, too. I use the old Razer Naga Epic Chroma (which is what the Trinity is when you put the 12 button panel on it, lol) and and Orbweaver. I just kept everybody back on Synapse 2 since Synapse 3 won't let the Orbweaver come play. Luckily, my other periphs were pre-Synapse 3. But I understand you have have both 2 and 3 running if you have to, it's just that everything won't be in one place and you don't have all the new fancy light patterns.

Only downside of using two softwere at the same time is no chroma sync other functions work without problem. If you want to use one switch mouse to naga epic chroma it's the same mouse as trinity and still have synapse 2 support.

When you install synapse and first log it dont download update but your profiles from cloud. And you dont have any options to disable update the only way is offline mode or diable internet connection.
