It's ridiculous that they haven't added the Man O War Wireless Headset etc... to Synapse 3.
Was looking on the web and found this unrelated definition that seams to fit the Razer Synapse 3 Beta software issue :
" an inept, poorly executed performance, application, system or problem plagued situation usually caused by poor planning, bad luck, incompetence, unprofessional behavior, etc. "
This was the definition of a "DUMPSTER FIRE"
Wrong, its free to download yes, but its only useful for their hardware. This software is subsidised through the hardware purchases. Saying not to complain because its "FREE" is comical. That's like saying not to complain about a bad patch from Apple on an Iphone..after all, the software was "free".
The software works for a long time, but the notification feature is not good, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, with a gaming mouse with many levels of DPI, that feature is really needed when changing the level. DPI. Please complete this feature, thanks
Love the fact that my £130 wireless mamba i bought a year ago still isnt supported by synapse 3. Thanks xxx
When you say soon, means never?
This really became ridiculous. I have wireless mano war and deathstalker ultimate, both not supported by synapse 3 and options for mano war are so bad in synapse 2, that I really cant wrap my head around that its actually made by Razer. There is no exact % of battery left. Like, really? And dont even get me started on deathstalker ultimate lack of features and not functioning apps on that touch screen. I thought that all of that will be sorted in synapse 3, but it's still in beta, and it seems that they are rolling more actual products out than adding new ones on the s3.
Only thang that I can use on s3 is my firefly mousepad. Thanks Razer!!! I bet it took months to program that one out. gj!
btw, as far as ui and actual functionality goes (although less reliable), Logitech (which is cheep plastic crap in my oppinion) is kicking your ass out the ball park. So learn a thing or two from them. U kinda look like amateurs on the software part right now.
And fucking give us Ouroboros RGB, ppl are begging for it for years, wth is wrong with u there?
I kinda consider my self premium buyer of a sort, and I can tell you that I will seriously rethink when I will be buying my next crap who to buy it from (after I buy that giant goliathus RGB crap that came out).
Oh, and btw, logitech actually got the charging mousepad and mouse as it should be. Check it out, compared to that, mamba air, or whatever its called, looks like chineese ali express product.
I know this is some tough love, but stop screwing around and get your eyes on the ball.
Agree with all of this-Razer Fanboy try helping users not Razer in this-it is BETA and has a lot of BUGS. They are selling hardware that requires BETA crappy unfinished software., not software that "just needs some updates periodically". Look at the forum-it's almost ALL bugs.
Use you love of Razer to help please, not defend them.
this last update has totally screwed my lighting mouse wont turn on and cant change keyboard effects
Has any one tried using Aurora to sync up lighting between Synapse 2 & 3? I know it works for different vendors
synapse dont support asus auras so it dont work becose there is no support on both sides.
Synapse 3 should be considered Concept Stage. It is no where near the point of being called a beta, let alone Alpha. I have over 50 Razer products just because I am a fan and I collect Razer. But their software and quality of products are making realize I should probably start replacing all of my Razer gear. I am just not happy.
I was speaking of the Aurora project (a third party application that I linked in my post) that links into Synapse and other RGB applications (like corsair) to sync up multiple otherwise incompatible RGB peripherals. Motherboard support will be coming with version 7 of Aurora.
I don't have any Razer products that use Synapse 2 for lighting so that's why I asked. I know that Aurora links into synapse 2 as well as 3... I just don't know if you can link them simultaneously with the aforementioned 3rd party application.
As the OP of the original post..Here is my update. As of early August I have been Razer free! I boxed everything, put it all on eBay and sold it all.
I now have a Steelseries K750 KB, 310 sensei mouse and the arctis pro headset and I have had ZERO software problems since. Everything works like it should...
Here we are MONTHS later, still zero progress from Razer on fixing their software, in the meantime they have released all manner of new products!
Their behaviour is shocking, You should all sell up and change to another brand. This is not what we should have to put up with. They are a joke!
You all tell razer but the reality is softere team is the problem. Razer hardwere is great no one can tell is crap or overprice the same price point have corsair and they are two top pheripercial companys they fight for client. I understand why razer go with beta force oeople to use it but the softwere team dont keep up with this. Two years later still in beta small ammount of legacy, big number of issue/bug in synapser 3 futures like compatability for difrent companys msi, hue etc. is poor sorry to tell that but this true and hard true is better that none. I dont aknow why softwere team have so hard time to complate it but in this moment if they dont figure out what to do with this will be a lot worse.
The question is: When will we have the official version of Synapse 3?
Never ! Because they are unable to develop a well running application. More than a year in beta and still more bugs than features. Keep on dreaming.
"Programming with .NET is like cooking in a McDonalds kitchen. It is full of amazing tools that automate absolutely everything. Just press the right button and follow the beeping lights, and you can churn out flawless 1.6 oz burgers faster than anybody else on the planet."
"None of this makes you a “bad programmer”. All these differences are perfectly irrelevant if you just want to make 1.6 oz burgers as fast as possible, and commit the rest of your career to an endless series of McDonalds menus. But every day spent in that kitchen is a day NOT spent in a real kitchen, learning how to cook real food, and write real code."
