Synapse 3 does not auto switch profile

I recently purchased the Viper Ultimate and installed the accompanying Synapse 3 on Windows 10. The mouse works great except Synapse 3 does not auto switch game profile at all. I tried repairing and reinstalling the software multiple times with no avail. The game in particular is League of Legends. The software detects that I have the game installed, but the .exe it's linked to is the launcher, not the actual executable of the game. For some bizarre reason does not allow you to change the .exe trigger even though it seems to have the functionality to allow you to add additional. Looking up this on Google shows others with similar problem dating back to last year. Does this mean that this has been a problem for over a year and Razer has yet to fix it?
