Forcing us to create accounts and log in was bad.

Every single update in Synapse 2.0 requiring a reboot was worse.

But advertisements/promotions popping up in my tray even though I've disabled notifications is absolutely unacceptable.

I own a 14'' Blade, Blackwidow Chroma, Naga Trinity, Mamba TE, and a Firefly. Safe to say I've been a Razer enthusiast for years. I can only speak for myself but I can promise this company you won't get another $ of my business if you continue to have ads popping up on my desktop. This is absolutely despicable behavior.

    Rant over.

ads? Are you talking about cortex? Just to ensure I wasn't missing something I launched synapse 3 and don't see a single ad. First I would suggest double checking if its Cortex or synapse (Cortex has game ads because it's tied to the Razer store) If it is Synapse uninstall and ensure you're familiar with all programs on control panel if you arn't sure about one uninstall that. Then reboot and reinstall Synapse 3

It's definitely Synapse 3.0. It's not ads but rather notifications that new promotions are available. They keep popping up in the bottom right hand corner of my primary monitor. I've disabled all notifications in Synapse but they still persist.

What it comes down to - is that the software I need to run products I already bought and paid a premium price for, should not be interrupting me or prompting me to buy more shit. It's not like Synapse is optional software.

It seems to me, you have installed Cortex alongside Synapse 3. This is not necessary in ANY way!
Just try to re-install Synapse 3, and pay close attention to the installation instead of just clicking next.
Yes, Razer Central will be installed, which hosts both Synapse 3 and Cortex, but Cortex doesn't have to be installed alongside Synapse

Synapse 3 is entirely unrelated to any kind of promotions. You may be confusing it with either Cortex or Central, most likely Cortex.
