Hello everyone! Today brings a major feature update for Synapse 3. All the stuff that we had put on hold months ago, is now gradually being released. General features - Global Shortcuts - Allows defining custom-shorcuts which work across any device-profile. (think Fn+1, Fn+2, Fn+3 to do different things/macro stuff/switch to different profiles, regardless of which profile you're currently in). Chroma in Systray - Now change your Chroma Studio effects from the Systray icon, without having to open Synapse. Chroma App active message - Disables Synapse lighting controls when a Chroma App has control over device lighting. No more complaints about being unable to apply device lighting with certain (Chroma-integrated) games. Switch lighting and profile with single keybind - available under switch profile Profile switching - New options to switch to next/previous, cycle up/down. Profile switching - Now allows switching to specific lighting effect together with the device profile (using a single keybind). Inter-device mappings - Change settings for one device using keys/buttons on a different device. Chroma Visualizer module - A spectrogram visualizer, works across all Chroma-enabled devices (including Chroma Connect devices and Synapse 2 devices). New Chroma Studio Effects - Wheel - Circular "Wave" effect Properties : Center point - center of rotation for the wheel. Only one center-point allowed per layer. Speed - degrees of rotation per second. Direction - self explanatory Ambient Awareness - Captures colors on your screen and applies it to your devices Properties : Region - Allows you to select a specific area of the monitor to capture. The selected screen-area is automatically "stretch-fit" to your LED selection. If you select only 1 LED, it will give you the color average of the entire selected screen area. Blend - Sharper setting gives you more "dynamic" spread of colors, blurred setting gives you a more "relaxed" average color. [NOTE] - Users with Optimus/Switchable graphics technologies may need to fiddle with their GPU settings to get this to work. Audio Meter - Just like audio meter of analog consoles, it gives your a colorful representation of the current audio level. Properties : Color - The color transition from "low" audio-level to "high" audio-level. Color Boost - A direct multiplier if your music source is a bit too quiet or a bit too loud. Decay - How fast the color should decay from its peak level. Chroma Studio Improvements. : Wave/Ripple - Added a new "start" option which lets you trigger the effect only from selected keys (the option to trigger it on any input still exists). Wave - Updated the "speed" implementation so it doesn't change when devices in the wave are disconnected (you may see a speed difference of upto ~10% as a side-effect). Starlight - Added "density" option" Reactive - "Random" color option Spectrum Cycling - Now customize your own pattern.
