    There is a known issue with the latest Synapse 3 on Windows 7 where it fails to detect supported peripherals. In specific, my BW Elite is detected but shortly disconnected and this keeps going on in a loop until Synapse and Central is killed.

    The previous version of Synapse 3 was working fine. Why can't you make that known working version available to us?

    I find it ludicrous that paying customers are forced to update their Windows versions to get a "beta" software to work properly , but hey only in America right ? I mean this is the reason RAZER has been losing reputation along peripherals for what half a decade now or more ?

    I for one won't be touching base with you guys anymore until you get that pitiful "software" out BETA.

    I just did a clean reinstall of Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium using the ISO from Microsoft's website which includes SP1 and the later SP1 convenience rollup. I've run Windows Update several times and had all important and optional updates installed such that my current status is "Windows is up to date" at this time of my post.

    After installing Synapse 3 and restarting my PC several times, I am still getting the same issue - my BW Elite constantly disconnects and reconnects and I have to terminate Synapse and Central after which Chroma and Macros will not work.

    I'd be very interested to see what list of updates you've had installed on your Windows 7 QA machines to see how it compares with with mine. In any case I will be PMing you shortly to get the hotfix.

    Just in case this wasn't clear, we're not asking users to update to Windows 10. We're asking for your Windows 7 to be on its latest patch/update.

    We always test our devices with the latest Windows patches/libraries. Most of the time, it doesn't affect users on older patches/libraries, but in case something breaks, we are unable to support them in such cases. It is the same practice for Synapse 2 as well, so this has nothing to do with "beta" status of the software.

    One last thing before I consume anymore bandwidth , the razer support via e-mail told me that my keyboard is not updated for synapse 3.0 quote down here :

    That list clearly shows that BlackWidow TE Chroma V2 is supported :

    Razer BlackWidow Chroma Tournament Edition V2
    Razer BlackWidow Chroma Tournament Edition V2 (Orange Switches)
    Razer BlackWidow Chroma Tournament Edition V2 (Yellow Switches)

    I for one am using the Green Switches one which true is not listed but if that counts for the non-updated synapse 3.0 beta software I am very displeased as it's from the same series that shows as being supported. Maybe you can clarify this to me. Cheers

    Blackwidow TE Chroma V2 with green switches is supported on Synapse 3 (that's also my personal keyboard at home). Looks like the customer support individual made an error.

    Thanks for the reply unfortunately my synapse 3.0 didn't see it after countless installs , might be my old version of Windows 7 in that case.

    OMG, never ending chaos with Synapse. Never seen so much of an incomptent development team. Unbelievable.

    This might not be applicable to you, but I unplugged my BW keyboard and let it sit for a couple of minutes and it started working after I plugged it back in.

    Previously I had been trying each USB port on the back of my PC in quick succession but the keyboard was still not being detected.

    Maybe giving it time to breathe did the trick.

    Well. I mean. It is in BETA. What, for over a year now?

    I mean, someday I MAY be able to use my Tartarus V2 in the way that it 'should' be able to work. But for now, oddly enough the Synapse 2 experience with my Razer Nostromo works better.
    Who'd of thought. Wanna buy a Tartarus V2? Basically brand new without the box.

    Few days ago i write a feature feedback about chroma light on/off toggle that can be add to tray icon that is near windows clock. It will be great when we dont need to set effect as none and get wird behawior becose most of time light dont sync to all devices and must be configure one more time or create new profile with effect as none to just get light off. Quick light on/off change when someone need from deskop icon is great :) Is any Chance we get it ?

    Sort of... We're putting Chroma Studio in the systray for the next patch, which should be adequate for your purpose.

    Guys, I have to say, I'm really struggling here. I've been a loyal fan for a long time, but this is really pushing me to reconsider. I have a closet full of Razer boxes from all of the products that my son and I have used over the years. The fact that there are over a thousand dollars worth of Razer peripherals on our desks right now and they can't do the simplest thing like sync a spectrum is just sad. When I read about supporting all of these third party components, well that's when I go from sad to mad. How dare you branch out to third party support without supporting your own equipment first? Frankly, that's just insulting. Supporting the Blackwidow X Tournament Edition and the rest of your product line shouldn't be rocket science, yet my keyboard is constantly doing something different than everything else, unless I turn off chroma or set a static color...

    Some one please tell me that there is light at the end of this tunnel or this is the last set of Razer peripherals that I'll be purchasing. Over a year in Beta, no road map or commitment to supporting your own products and no alternative support tools outside of the beta just isn't acceptable.

    Yeah it's simullar but buton where you can toggle all devices lightning on/off by pressing one switch it's more simple, quick and easy solution for end user.

    You can make a Chroma Studio profile with all devices off (which is what I personally do as well) to accomplish this.

    Yes this is possible to do but this also have a downside. When you create second non link profile and you have other linked to games/apps and want to use auto switch options is not working why becose two non linked profiles are saw by synapse as desktop profile. This is why i think simple toggle switch is better solution becose it dont change anything in auto profile switch everything will work as should be and when you want just turn off or on light you just click.

    Just buy another brand. Still being forced to use both Synapse V2 and V3...........
    Synapse v2 is abandoned and v3 is a complete wreck in never-ending beta.
