Why is an app like Synpse 3 and Razer Control using CPU power all the time. ?
Also it seems it keeps communicating on the internet.

This seems a bit excessive for an app made to just change the setup of your keyboard and Mouse

I can understand that an update check is done when windows starts.

I can confirm that. CPU power usage has increased since the last two updates.
    As in the attachments:
First image - Razer applications (Central and Synapse) not running.
Second image - Razer applications are running.

Turning the application on or off has an immediate effect: CPU power usage changes. It was OK in earlier Razer software versions.

Well the above does not give much information. So I added this.
This amount comes and goes every odd second regardless of computer usages.
Also why the continuously talk over the network. For a company making equipment and software for gamers and pro gamers. Your software should leave a minimum footprint on computer resources.
And I can begin to fathom why your software would need to continuously need to talk over the network or why it need to process any data for that matter when the computer is up and running.

The two top apps CefSharp and Razer Central are continuously using the below amount. the other services are only every odd second.

Hmm, that's weird. Isn't it supposed to be a software that controls LEDs, basically? I guess Cortex needs internet.

Yes it is. Its is nothing more than a glorified LED controlling software with the way I use it

I only use Synapse (and of course Razer Central), I don't use any other Razer software. Turning off Synapse does not reduce power consumption, you must turn off all applications to reduce power. It seems the culprit is Razer Central, which is not even LED control software. Unfortunately, you cannot use Synapse without Razer Central.

This is not about money, but about the question: what for? Especially on a laptop.
