Hello,
today i updated from my AbyssusV2 to Viper8K. Unfortunately it comes with the synapse3. The problem is, that the dpi overlay wont show ingame, in any game. That kinda beats the purpose of it. I know that i'm not the only one with this problem, but i didnt find any solutions online.
Is there anything i can do?

Ok, after further online research i found more similar cases, the oldest being from 2017. So this issue is known for five years and razer didnt bother looking into it. even here on this forum are plenty of posts with this particular issue, with no solution whatsoever. so i'm not really expecting any help anymore.

So, i found a workaround i wanted to share:
the overlay stops working when i start a game (e.g. fortnite). after that, i end the "razer synapse service" via task manager, then open it again and the overlay works fine. its annoying, but it works for me.
