Another hardware or software issue

Hardware:
Is your macro button sticky?
Cause it could be that once you have pressed the button, the key is stuck on for few seconds before being released.
The reason buttons face sticky buttons
* Accidentally spilled liquid on the mouse (sugar beverages)
* Sweat from your hands smelted onto the internals
You can try fixing sticky buttons, by opening the mouse and cleaning the inside.
Or the internal circuitry of the mouse is damaged, which require a electronics specialist to investigate.

Software:
The mouse, keyboard and other external peripherals work on a computer via a installed driver.
The manufacturers do send new updates to the driver for reasons like
* resolving conflict with the OS software
* Upgrading security
* Resolve any bugs in the peripherals
* Implementing features (RGB lighting affect)
Check that your RAZER software (Cortex, Synapse) are updated.

But in your case this is likely to be a hardware issue (sticky button). Try things out~~~ and give us your results
