Synapse - Naga Trinity Button Assignment

How do I go about requesting feature updates? I bought the Trinity for the extra buttons, but I dislike how they are nothing more than programmable keyboard buttons. I would like to have 12 independent buttons, like mouse button 4/5, that I can assign whatever I want them to be in game.

Profiles aren't really viable as I play well over 4 games, and I don't want to have to reprogram every button each time I want to play a different game. Seems like a big oversight on really.

Not possible. Windows/HID spec only allows inputs upto Mouse5.

There is no standard defined for Mouse6 and above, so Windows, games and applications wouldn't know what "Mouse6", or "Mouse12" is.

The best way to use them in-game would be to assign them to unused keys (e.g. symbol keys, F5-F12, pgup pgdown etc.), and then use those assignments in the game.
That's a shame. So basically I need to complain to Microsoft to increase/create a standard for more mouse button recognition?
My recommendation is to set them to your number pad keys and in-game assign them a purpose. I did the same with my orbweaver. they are assigned to my ctrl+ f1-f12. I do have a 60% board and don't/can't use my numpad anyway.
Another thing i did is assigned my middleclick to hypershift and made the other buttons alt+numpad for extra use. holding my hypershift and scroll wheel is pg up and down so i wasnt missing out on the middleclick use for faster scrolling

Side note: my Naga is for MMO/RPG i use mamba for fps and those are all standard action.
