synapse not running

I have a Razer Ornata Chroma keyboard. I usually do not have problems with it but occasionally I notice that the lighting effects are not what I had set. I usually just have to click on synapse in my taskbar and it goes back to normal. This has not worked for the last couple of days. It just says synapse is not running and nothing I do will get it to run. I tried to repair it, uninstall, removed the keyboard and drivers but nothing helps. I had to download an uninstall program to help remove it completely because it would never fully uninstall on its own. If I go to the Chroma section of the Razer site and click on the demo for chroma it changes the lighting on the keyboard so the lights work, I just cannot get the synapse program to run, tried to install synapse 2 and it does not detect the keyboard as a compatible device.
