Tartarus Pro key binds not working properly -- impossible to make new binds?

Hi,

I recently purchased a Tartarus Pro. Am happy with it as it has helped with my arm pain while gaming. However, it has become unusable because the keybinds are not working. Obviously, when creating keybinds, it is a process of tria ad error. Setting the first set of binds worked fine, but when I try to change buttons I have already set as something else, the keypad gets confused. For example:

I play warzone. I use left alt to crouch. So I set 'down' on the d-pad to 'alt'. I also neeed to be able to view my map, so I set 'left' on the d-pad to 'M'. I also set '11' to 'ESC'. I realised in game this didn't work as it was too easy to accidentally pull up my map when crouching. So, I went into razer synapse and changed the keybind for 'M' to 'Up' on the d-pad instead.

When I go back in game, the following happened:
- no d-pad button did anything.
- the 'switch between keybinds' button was set to alt
- no button worked for ESC.

When I went back into Synapse to see what had happened, everything was still as I set it.

I tried setting everything back to default and starting over, but this did not work. I tried adding a new keymap, but it just remembered the binds from the other maps.

Basically, I am unable to set keybinds. This essentially renders the keypad unusable.

Has anyone had a similar issue, or has a suggestion for a fix? Thanks.

I also lose my keybinds when my computer reboots. I do not have a solution. Just the same frustration.

Hey there! Thanks for posting your gaming keypad's concern here. Were you able to replicate the issue by logging in as a guest user and created test key bindings?
Yes, this happens as a guest and when I am logged in. I have discovered that if I manually unplug the device and plug it into a different USB port before logging into WoW, it will work properly. But I have to do this every time- back and forth between my 2 empty ports- before I play. It is annoying. The device is expensive and i would expect it to work properly. It is too big for my hand anyway so I may just buy a different device altogether.

Thanks for letting me know. Have you tried setting up the device to another computer with Razer Synapse 3.0 and check if the same behavior persists? If it does, please utilize your gaming keypad's warranty by contacting your reseller or send me a PM if it's purchase from Razer's website. I'll be locking this thread now.
