Tartarus v2 and Synapse 3 [Change Keymap lag]

    I have a Tartarus v2, it works good from time to time, but it suddenly lags the keyboard to Cycle Keymap or Specific Keymap. Apparently its a problem of Synapse 3, well… I just try it in 3 different Pc's and nothing. Someone has the same problem? The lag to change the Keymaps makes it useless. I must close the Synapse's processes and start Snapse 3 like Administrator just to open it again. Doing this every 10 minutes is really annoying. I hope someone can help me here.

    Same problem here - delays of up to 3 seconds.
    Reinstalled Synapse several times, which fixed the problem - but only for a VERY short while.

    did anyone find a solution?

    So far there is no solution. They have released 2 updates for Synapse 3 in the last 2 months and none of them solves the problem.
    The people of RAZER are very kind and attentive, but Synapse 3 is a bad software, it is full of problems in almost all the devices, according to the complaints that I have seen on twitter.

    Yep - that shows it accurately.
    This kind of lag is not acceptable in a gaming device.

    Same with Orbweaver and Synapse 2 when detecting game change. Too slow to be useful..

    I have exactly the same problem. I have tried a fresh install several times . The device will function okay for about ten or so minutes then start lagging out to the point of being unusable.
    I purchased an Orbweaver Chroma quite some time ago and I found it to suffer from a similar flaw so I refunded it.
    If a solution isn't found for this very soon , I will end up refunding this one as well.
    Before using either of these products I have been using a Belkin n52(The N52 still works btw) with no problems whatsoever.

    I received an Email from Razer support staff soon after sending in a log file and beta report through Synapse 3.
    It was suggested to me that I try installing S3 on a different machine. I am going to do that and report my findings.


    I am running windows 10
    Intel I7 8700k
    32 GB Gskill trident rgb 3200mhz
    GTX 1080 ti.

    Same issue on the Tartarus v2. I had a working Belkin n52te until a couple days ago when one of the keys stopped responding. Now I'm stuck waiting on Razer to fix their device.

    I used N52TE too, along with N52 and N50. they never showed any problem like this in 10 years. I still use the N52TE nowadays. Synapse 3 is a not good designed software. We need make a massive complaint to tell them about fix this problem, considering that Tartarus V2 is great, however it works limited considering these problems and their software. This blog is the perfect platform to take us seriously.

    Tartarus V2 has massive problems with it's thumb stick, failing after few month. You can read it in this forum, so I would not recommend. Better use Orbweaver Chroma.

    I started with the n52 myself, then n52te and then the razer orbweaver.
    All of them worked absolutely flawlessly. This issue here really pisses me off.

    Anyways, I started a ticket. Let's hope for a quick fix.

    Same issue here still. Think my case number eventually expired, so I started another.
