That is it for the CES 2016 sale?

    Of course this whole thing is for publicity! Just like any other type of sale. Ain't that the point of this?

    I can understand the frustration that comes with the disappointment of not getting in on the deals but...what can we do? should the sale be lower than 50%? maybe 30% instead? is that a solution to the problem? This thing happen every year... you should all be more prepared.

    Name one company that dont make their products at low prices and then sell them for much more, that is just an invalid point....everyone does it. The difference between the cost of making a product and what they sell for... margins! Every company HAVE to make money even Razer.

    What I meant in my original post is that Razer dont have to make a sale like this one...but they do it anyway.

    For people complaining about Razer and the server issue, check out the bottom of the page in the store and you will see "DR globalTech Inc., is the authorized reseller and merchant of the products and services offered within this store." DR stands for Digital River and these types of issues have plagued them for years. They are a popular company that companies outsource the e-commerce and logistics work to. Anytime you see Digital River and there is a big sale, expect server problems and you won't be disappointed.

    aren't they having a remedial sale anyways, just try your luck again next time if you didnt get what you wanted.

    Out of all what @Destrok wrote you were able to pick only this? FYI Community Moderators does not represent Razer, we represent the community so if anything bad is done by a CM it is not a reflection on Razer, it is a reflection on the community. Got it kiddo?

    And out of all of what I wrote you were able to pick only this as well? Right back at ya kiddo, because I'm pretty sure I wrote (and quoted) more than what you picked out.

    Also, you're a moderator on a Razer-owned forum. Meaning someone from Razer allows you to have whatever power you do have. Meaning you represent Razer whether you like it or not. And considering your immediate condescension and hostility, I bet you love your limited omnipotence.
    On top of that, if you truly are representative of the Razer community as a whole, it must be such a lovely community. I mean, gee, no wonder people are chomping at the bit to be here, with people like you at the helm

    Haha, this community has been here for more than a year and was a beautiful place until people who only wish to complain and spam joined in for rewards and deals. Even we don't want to be here anymore to be honest(go to my profile and check the threads created, it is the easiest way to get hold of those old threads) but we are doing our best to get rid of those who ruin the place. The community moderator scheme was put forward due to heavy request by rest of the users, of course you wouldn't know any of that as you made this account just 2 days back. May be you should do some reading on other threads, older threads, then you will know what a community moderator really stands for.
    Almost forgot.. Of course you did mention other points but the first point you picked is what gains the focus and you picked that silly mistake which wasn't necessary so it shows you had nothing good to say.

    I logged in right at 7:00 mountain time and when I went through everything it was all in stock. The Razer Firefly was what I wanted and it was in stock for probably a couple of hours before it went out of stock. I grabbed the Razer Deathstalker Chroma at like 10:00 mountain time.

    If you're going to try to make statements like that, you might want to do some reading yourself and at least get your facts straight... y'know, before you make a fool of yourself.

    The first point I "picked" was the first point he made. Notice how the quotes are in succession, much like this is.

    So, just like all of your replies to me then. Glad to see moderators around here have a "do what I say, not what I do" attitude.

    Might want to start with the one you see in the mirror first, then.

    Irony? probably because Insider now is filled with spammers and whiners. You should check this thread. It is one of the first threads created addressing this issue, there are lot more created by many other member.
    My bad for misreading the year, happens to all when the year changes but rest of the statement still stands as you activity began less than a day back.Correct me if I am wrong.
    Fair enough but the fact that you quoted a small mistake like that and called it against Razer shows how valueless and destructive your comment was.

    If you are just looking to blame Razer for giving a 50% off sale on an event that is totally dependant on them winning in CES and still expect Razer to fill their warehouses expecting a win and fulfill everyone's wish and then come here to complain and cry about it al day then I would say its people like you who ruins this place. Please if you have nothing good to say then stay like you were for the past one year with this account.

    Don't listen to all the hate mate some people just can't be pleased, your just helping out razer as a community moderator, some people don't understand the difference between community mod and staff or are just looking for someone to blame for their miss-reding of the official CES sale post or poor luck.

    Some of the people in this thread are making good points about this sale but making the points poorly out of anger/sadness/disappointment or because no staff member has appeared in this thread yet so they can't direct their frustration at them and Razer tends not to respond to hate on social media.

    However, I do believe that the sale was handled poorly in terms of the insider programme, Razer should have made it similar to the nabu x pre order discount where you have to have done so much with regards to number of posts/likes, this way the sale would have been for Razer's true fans, not people looking for a great discount on something they will just sell to make a profit and can get the discount with very little effort.

    In terms of stock levels people don't realise how desired Razer products are and it was just Christmas, so stock levels would already be low with people buying them as presents or with their Christmas money, as I have done.

    I do hope Razer continues to do similar sales in the future but handles the availability of discount codes better in order to please the die hard fans, but after all this hate they are getting I think the likelihood of seeing a 50% off sale has reduced dramatically.
