Is there any store who can help us replacing SSD ?
Not that I know of... but honestly, it's as easy as unscrewing the back screws, removing the m.2 SSD and inserting a new one. It's easier than Lego lol...
I hope it can take SATA m.2. Sure not as fast as PCIE m.2 but I happen to have just bought a 2TB SATA m2 which I wouldn't mind putting into this so I basically can have my entire Steam library on the go.
Otherwise I will just put the m.2 in an external enclosure. When it's gaming the laptop is generally sat down somewhere anyway
What should I do?
Should I Get the 256 and upgrade it to a 2 TB? or 1TB? is it worth it? or wait for that model to come out?
The 2TB is just too much $1200 is just crazy. Can you guys let me know if this model is ok or if there is a better alternative?
why don't you go for the 970 pro instead of 960 pro? I think it's performing better and it's cheaper(499$ - 600$)
Would this be compatible ?
And what steps would I need to take to successfully install this in regards to the Chroma and Windows licensing?
you woukd have to double check but I don t see why the 970 pro would not work where the 960 pro does.
Has anyone seen any test results including battery life on the various models?
This is budget m2 from intel not as fast as Original that comes with Blade but still faster than sata I believe since it’s nvme. If amazon has stock usually i think it’s around €350 to €400.
None released yet
So far only her testing how long the battery life on Blade 15 (jump to 2:10), idk how long she works though but she said don’t be worried
anyone know what is the ram MHz max that the mobo allow in case of upgrade?
Whats not the budget chip? I want the one as fast as the one its manufactured with
Here’s including some comparison speed and price. I won’t buy 256gb laptop nowaday anyway, I would go with 512gb, and buy 5tb ex 2,5 HDD for gaming storage, 2tb isn’t enough for me.
what if we buy 1tb external SSD instead of 5tb HDD? What's the difference between SSD and HDD in compare to Gaming ?
Faster loading time, usually and mostly on save scenes. Though it’s not huge imo, especially we’re now on USB3 speed. On game play there’s no difference like laggy etc, at least for me.
Then is it good to buy 5 tb HDD or 1 tb SSD ? What are the advantages of SSD against HDD as an external drive for gaming ?
we have a release date for EU (FR) ?
It s showing out of stock, no date.
May be the same as UK : june 16?
Check amazon on june 16.
Smaller and through usb c some can have around 500mb/s reading vs around 100mb on hdd. Personally for gaming I don’t need that speed, for OS yes.
