The analogical Tartarus Pro, currently, is useless

Completely hyped by this "gamepad", I bought it on Friday on our website, and received it yesterday. (Monday) For the delivery, no problem, it was fast... but as far as the promise that makes you drool, the analogic, well...... It's useless....

Indeed, you can assign two characters to a key with different activation levels. Except that the activation levels are far too close together!

Example: I did a first test in Kingdom Come: Delivrance. I wanted to walk with a light pressure, and with a stronger pressure, I would run. (It's still YOUR promise on YOUR site: "For example, a half press will cause your character to walk, while a full press will get them to run. This type of control is similar to how you might move your character using analog thumbsticks on a controller." I can't do better as an example...)

Except that in practice, it is impossible to walk for more than 3-4 seconds, because the activation distance between the two is too short. If we reduce the total distance to a percentage, let's say that at 10% pushed, you activate the first function, and from 20% to 100% of the push, you activate the second. In other words, even with training worthy of a Tibetan sage, you won't be able to stay long on the first function.

I would like to point out that I have correctly configured Synapse, with "actuations points" completely at odds with each other.

What do you plan to do, Razer?

Hi there! Thanks for posting your concern on our Support thread. Your point is well taken. Please send me a video where we can see the actuation concern via PM. Let's continue there.

Hello,

A video showing the settings of the "actuations points" ? How about a screenshot ?

All right, I'll try to send you this tonight. (French time.)

PS: Although not in the support section, please also take into account the statements of my unfortunate colleagues who also bought this redesigned Tartarus V2.(https://insider.razer.com/index.php...the-new-razer-tartarus-pro.52733/#post-506622)
@Razer.Speedcr0ss I tried to make a video of the problem, but my Pro is not working this morning - my profile is loaded, but it has dropped all keymaps, and seems to be stuck in an unlabeled red keymap. My Tartarus V2 is working just fine on the same profile and same synapse 3 on my new profile, so it seems that the Pro and Synapse 3 is the problem. Squeaky wheel and all, but this device/driver seems to have some serious issues.

Aside from the fact that the top press can't be ignored which is seriously limiting to the utility, I tried to map some keystrokes so I could manage related keyboard shortcuts - I use "HH" and "HR" for Autodesk Revit, and mapped the top keystroke to H and the lower to R in the thought that I could double tap for HH and full press for HR input, and even though I'm used to typing ~65wpm on a 45g switch activating at 1.7mm and bottoming out at 3.6mm, I was unable to reliably get a light double tap to only input HH, about 20% of the time the same light touch would input HR. If there really was 2mm separating the inputs this wouldn't have happened. I'm trying out a heavier switch with a tighter actuation and bottom out force, and am able to reliably type without bottoming out, so I'm pretty certain that I'm able to reliably type with a pretty granular feel on a variety of switches, and the Pro isn't delivering consistent results.

Thanks for sharing. I replied to your PM. Please send me a video showing its double typing concern.

Check these clips, they do describe the issue very well:

The second video is non-technical but show the same effect.
