    Super simple:

A daily new topic to start the conversation.
Feel free to go off topic.
    Get to know each other.

Starting with: Gameboy - your first game

First game or first Gameboy game?
First game: Super Mario Bros NES
First Gameboy game: Prince of Persia
I still remember playing with my friend's Gameboy in school while the class is going on. Life on edge it was, fun it was.

(First game on the gameboy - but let the conversation go wherever)

I remember struggling getting out of the house in Pokemon Blue because I couldn´t read back then and had no Idea what to do.
Running around the starting room for weeks with no clue what to do...

The game didn´t get easier after leaving the house ...

I still feel that the game I remember the most from being a kid is Super Bust a Move - although I mostly played that one on PS1.

Btw. Prince of Persia would´ve been impossible without reading skills for me. Played that later on other systems. The Sand of Time was great!

I actually didn't play much on gameboy. I remember wanting one when they came out and my dad told me it's too expensive !=(
Few days later he said he's got some business to deal with in town and wanted me to go with him, I fell asleep at the back of the car after hours and hours of driving from one shop to another (still didn't realise what was going on) and finally in the evening dad woke me up and gave me my gameboy, omg how happy I was! Didn't need much to be happy as a kid did we? And how epic gameboy was comparing to todays handheld consoles, it's normal today to have a ps vita or 3ds but back then? Whoah I mean...you had a GAMEBOY and you could play games wherever you want OMG.
I remember playing Mario and constantly jumping to the right with my gameboy to help the sad plumber with his jumps lmao

My very first Gameboy game was Metroid 2. Such a great game. I must have spent a small fortune in batteries powering through that. Pokémon Red and Link's Awakening were fairly close behind it. If we're talking first game ever... still that. Gameboy was the first system I myself actually owned.

    First handhold console game: Tetris
    First Gameboy game: Alladin
    First PS game: Megaman X4
    First PC game: SkiFree

I still remember the disappointment when I found out that the Gameboy cassette which stated 900 in 1 actually 3 games repeated 300 times. :slightly_sad::slightly_sad:

And now you can find a thousand versions of all those games on the app store.
I kinda need the old hardware to enjoy the old games :/

First Game was Sonic The Hedgehog on my first system Sega Game Gear. My sister had a Gameboy Classic and my first Gameboy was the blue Pocket which I have in my desk right next to me now and that was for playing Pokemon Red.
