There is room for improvement... Nothing is perfect.
It needs time.
Every one wanted a chroma.... I saw the were out and said ok and ordered a Tartarus. I like the sale as is 50% is awesome. Time people learn "You can't always get what you want."
The sale was amazing, but on the internet everyone is always going to complane if something is not perfect :/. I think it's a good idea to give the codes to people who are active, like what was done with the Nabu x
I missed it ... Hope I will get it next year
Who dafuq would vote no xD
I think the way the sales are done is just fine. The only thing I would change would be to do different sales at different times for the different regions. This is the first time i have been able to get something and was really happy I did but other sales i have not gotten anything and was still happy the sale happened and just made me hyped even more for the next one around. Also maybe try and figure out a way that the server doesn't break during sale
Maybe in the future there should be different sale time slot for different region, so that it can be coordinated better and everyone has a chance. While I think it's fair to limit one item per person so that nobody will be left out. The 50% discount should be maintained though as it make the product more affordable in country where people have lower income overall so that Razer's product can be appreciated by more people.
if u're seriously concerned about the CES sales bringing unhappiness...you guys shud make a CES discounted week sales..where for 1week u open the discounted items for everyone to purchase but limited to 1 item ofcourse, this will ensure happiness and fairness all around for all razer fan worldwide. but ofcourse many ppl can find those loop holes and try to be greedy and stuff...well, im sure you guys have pro's hired in razer sales team to make sure there is no loop holes.
I think most of the people that are complaining are people who wouldn't ever buy a razer product unless it was 50% off or more anyway, the fans enjoy it and love razer products. So I wouldn't worry about all the negativity, I see it all the time, most of the negatives don't even own a razer product, and they just bash it, because it's not what they use, so it has to be crap.
I agree that it can be frustrating to get an item that you want during a 50% off sale. But seriously it is a sale for crying out loud. Be thankful that you were even given the possibility of getting something at 50% off. If the server crashes or out of stock is to much for you then simply buy what you want at full price and be happy. Just my 2 cents.
I've never had a chance to actually get something from one of these sales but I appreciate that you do this, Razer. There's not many other companies that i've seen that do anything remotely close to this, you guys are great. I agree though, some people just don't appreciate it, and shame on them for being so selfish.
I also don't understand why people feel the need to tell you guys how to run these things. As if the company doing the sales wouldn't have thought about all (or most) scenarios. I know you guys are doing THE best that you can, and I thank you for that. Also glad to see you active on the forums here Min-Liang
I feel the sales was with good intentions just that it went downhill with the mistakes of reversed codes and stock availability. However appreciate the effort that was went through. Hopefully in the next sale, there would be more stocks available.
Honestly, the only reason I had the money to buy the razer keyboard that I have is because of a 50% of sale so I would appreciate if you continued doing them; however, and that being said, one can't let the critiques of the loudest few offset what is overwhelmingly good for the vast majority of the community. Just because there are a few bad apples on the internet, doesn't mean they have to ruin it for the rest of the otherwise great community here.
Sales are great, but try to make the sale more accessible, try not to make the site crash/wrong codes.
Make the Sale as if you were walking into a store that is having a 20%-50% off sale!
The store have limited Stock and space, and just keep with it.
They can only do so much to just predict how many customers will come.
Also, server overload is just like having a store being overloaded with customers, that's normal.
Out of stock is the same.
Back order is a no, because then, resellers will prey on Razer and take EVERYTHING RAZER has and then, who is unhappy again? THE TRUE RAZER FANS and potential new Razer fans.
There is also a possibility that there might be more resellers than customers on site at times, which can cause out of stock even when it's not a sale.
When you can take profits from a brand product, there are bound to be people thinking they can profit, which there are certain customers getting ripped off over buying at the Razer store.
Another point is to keep your business supplying as it is. If it works well then keep it, No point of over stocking when you risk losing money. In the end, you'll get preyed on resellers, when your products are popular.
Limited Product going around in the market will also create more demand in the long run anyway. Like Coach was popular globally until they over produced and everyone in china as a coach bag, now people are starting to look at Michael Kors.
Again, THANKS FOR THE SALE!
I didn't get anything, but it was exciting to see the sale!
Might get a Seiren to replace my broken condenser mic~
Unfortunately scalpers can just make Razer Insider accounts and grab a bunch of stuff to resell. I don't think there is an easy answer to this, but I would like to see it continue even though I never manage to grab anything for myself.
You can just email Insiders a promo code
But you can predict an Oscar.
Release in the fall, campaign during award season, pay to win said awards(Golden Globes), look at polls and listen to buzz. More awards won+lots of buzz=high % chance to win Oscar.
Try researching these methods during your Oscar office pool and swim in your winnings.
Another company that clearly cant handle making a store that works.
I understand a big load on the site can cause issues, but refusing to honor orders for people who had issues on your site is like letting everyone into a store and lighting the store on fire and saying if you make it out alive you can keep it.
There store even now does not work still. I cant add any items to my cart. Please do not run another sale until you can create a store that can handle a large load correctly.
Spoiled and entitled persons like yourself will be the reason we don't ever get another sale. Because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it didn't work for others.
Seems to me like you are not a true razer fan if you can't appreciate and understand the nature of this sale. Whether I got anything or not I'm thankful to razer and min for showing their fans this kind of appreciation.
Imagine having a retail store with a 50% off sale on products that rarely go on sale yet alone for this price. You've seen what people do on Black Friday. They don't have control over who has issues and who doesn't. They stated beforehand that they knew they were expecting this and he apologized in advance for the delays and thanked people yet again for voting for them for best of CES. It doesn't matter if they have a sale or not, true Razer fans will buy from them at full price. The sale is just a way of saying thank you to a select few. I didn't get what I wanted this year but I'm happy with all of the products I have now
