I love all those specs, now if I only had those in my current PC I would be Gaming a lot more. :D 3 1/2 years i've been Gaming with a 4820k, gtx 770 and 16gb 1866 ddr3 ram, I would love to see how much faster and smoother Gaming is in some newer Tech. Maybe one day I will own some thing like that Gaming Laptop above, but it will have to wait!

Is it possible to change FHD panel to 4K UHD panel ?

In other laptops with thicker screen panel yes, but in thin laptops like Razer Blade i think It's quite difficult or maybe almost impossible.

I have both 2016 & 2017 FHD , there is no option to turn it off, unless you reduce screen brightness, maybe QHD does.

Update to the latest synapse, you will have it under lightning options bar. Though on mine it doesn't change anything, this guy said it could (sorry it's in foreign language, but I could understand), in 2:43

Edit: I asked him and he said yes it can, but maybe it was his misunderstanding having enable logo on synapse, and the light off to on in video maybe after waking up from sleep, don't know exactly.

I can´t tell because the Dbrand covers the logo....but I doubt it, at least on the FHD version.

Hey @iPhantomhives ! same here - do you have tracking issues? mine stops tracking, no matter wireless or wired... I think it might be a Synapse problem.

Where do you plug the mice, through USB Hubs or directly to the Blade? I have no tracking issues with mine, and put receiver or charging always directly to the Blade, i had only problem when i put it in my USB C to USB 3 hub, it's connect and disconnect randomly (i use in that hub also my BW X Te, an external HDD, numpad, and DVD Drive.

When Idle? I don't have any issue with tracking.

I think it has something to do with the screen, mine doesn't come with the option in synapse, only keyboard brightness.

Good point. I use a 7-usb hub ... although I have never had a "disconnect" problem, I will start using it through the machine's USB and see what happens.

UPDATE: same problem ... i will next uninstall and reinstall synapse.

yeah, it might have been included for the new panel version... for the FHD, at least for me, it doesn't change a thing.

I have issue with the tracking on mamba, when I use USB-C Hub(no psu) with Razer mug together, it drain too much power. I think you should try the machine’s USB.

hello guys! got lucky when I purchased my RB in bestbuy last april.
no issues whatsoever! (LG screen, laptop is stable on flat surface, no backlight bleed)

but stupid windows creators update ruined it haha

I took the risk last night knowing the problems encountered by other people.
but some of them updated it prefectly with no issues

mine only booted up to black screen :big_grin_:

good thing recovery is intact and i made a virtual image an hour earlier.

but some of the issues that i had before updating to creators update wee fixed by the said update (mouse stuttering, optimus bug)

too bad the update crashed my laptop hehe

oh well ill just wait until they fixed it

    P.S.

my 3 year old $200 laptop is running Win10 Creators update with no problem
my 5 months old $2200 Razer Blade crashed and black screened when i updated it to Creators update :big_grin_::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

I've had zero problems running the creators update. There are a few things you should try if you haven't already.

    1) Install latest graphics drivers from nVidia website and Intel website. Not from Razer.
    2) Install Samsung NVM-e driver from Samsung website (assuming your SSD is Samsung, it should be).
    3) Remove Killer software suite and old driver, install just the driver only.

Not sure these will eliminate your problems, but worth a shot.

Did you updated all drivers to latest one? Including Nvidia? I was also afraid updating to creator because some users reported chrash issue, but I think i did it 2 months before with latest drivers on Intel and Nvidia driver at that time (I was assuming that crash and BSOD was from either this two old drivers) and mine running no issues after that, but it lows a bit GPU benchmarks score, but couldn't recognize it in real world usage.
Btw I had no mouse stuttering issues now or before update, I use my mouse usually connected directly to machine. With hub no stuttering but random dis and connection issues, i think it was because it's a cheap hub, don't know but with HDD, numkey and firefly i have no disconnection issue, only when i plug mouse and keyboard together with it.

    Which one can run crysis;)

    haha! you got me there.

    thank you JLP209, Joikansai

I am currently working with tech support to fix an intermittent wifi problem. On hour 6 now!

Turns out all you have to do is uninstall Killer Network Management software... you think this is something that would be done before ship...
