So the base version with a 1060 only costs 1.799$? Isn't that even cheaper than the latest 970m model cost when it was released?

I need to make a decision very fast then... Get on the bus now or wait for Microsoft. I will still get the 4k display.. I just love the warranty Microsoft offers.

Yeah I think it is (256GB version). I bought my New (old) Razer Blade 512GB for 2,200.00 USD

Totally agree I bought the New (Old) Razer Blade 2016 via Razer - and they only offered 1yr. If you're using this for a work rig most companies want better warranties.

Please bring to Europe soon! It's been ages and the Stealth still isn't available! :slightly_sad:

Also Microsoft offers signature edition which is supposed to be better... But does the Razer "version" really come with alot of bloatware?.. Also having accidental damage coverage through Microsoft is Nice... I don't know what to do here.

I'd really should move to the us now... it basically come down to either having free college and healthcare vs being able to get a Razer Blade^^

One tip - I preordered from Razer, as I bought the FHD, but from prior experience ordering laptops from Razer and Microsoft...

It's not unheard of for someone who waits to buy from Microsoft to get it before pre-orders from Razer ship. Particularly as you are getting the 4k, which Microsoft carries, perhaps this is a good "wait and see" opportunity.

The Razer edition is the same or perhaps even incrementally better than the Signature Edition. It literally comes with NOTHING preinstalled except Razer Synapse.

The 1799 one is 1080p, latest 970m model only come with QHD+

When I got my Blade a few months ago it had 0 bloat on it (unlike the Asus ROG I had last year, the Surface Book and even my MBP had some junk on it pre installed). This was clean excluding Razer Synapse - but you use that to control lighting, warranty stuff and so on.

Well that's good to know... I'm definitely going to have to decide soon if I do order from Razer I'd like to be one of the first and not risk waiting months for delivery.

True. They generally roll with the base + 1 models. I haven't filled my 512GB up yet (I have a bunch of dev software and 3-4 AAA titles on there) but I could see as games grow or VR demands increase space will be a must have!

Normally yes. Microsoft normally carries the higher specced versions of the Razer lineup.

    Patience.

It also doesn't help that you need 3 different keyboard configurations for Europe, and need to undergo additional licensing/testing/warranty guarantees.

I hope I'm not posting out of turn, but when I go to the "Buy" link, all I see is the Full HD option with 256GB disk or the QHD+ option with 1TB disk. Will there be a Full HD option with larger disk choices? I have no problem with after-market upgrades, but choice is nice.
