New hardware always comes out every few months. When you buy a computer, there is going to be one with better hardware in a couple months.

Can always just sell your blade on ebay and get the new one :)

Hardware is on a annual upgrade basis and has been for over a decade, this is none other but Razer's fault, your $2,500 computer shouldn't be outdated 3 months after you receive it.

    Don't do this.

It makes you look very very petulant. Tech changes constantly, whatever you buy is obsolete before you even swipe your credit card.

The alternative is for Razer NOT to upgrade, and sell the same thing for years as competitors pass it by. Is that what you want?

Your Blade runs games today exactly as well as it did the day you bought it. Nothing has changed...

Since when? Razer has only made laptops for 5 years, and 2/5 years have seen multiple hardware upgrades (2012, 2016).

Also, you knew Pascal was out.

Also, congratulations as I have good news: your computer isn't outdated. Today it runs and benchmarks exactly as it did yesterday. Go play some games!

What do you mean outdated after 3 months the 970m is over 2 years old.

oh new hardware only comes out once a year? sorry i was unaware of that. i didnt know companies were only allowed to come out with new stuff once a year. my bad. /s

  8. hmmm im surprised hdr isnt part of the monitors feature i know its newer tech but its not that new and it would make thing all the better

also im suprised its a 1060 instead of 1070

1070 puts off way too much heat for the thin form factor of the blade. the 1060 is the direct replacement for the 970m which was in the blade before.

Common razer every single new blade is sold out and this is only the US so there is absolutely no chance for Europe release!!! Can't you just make more units and ship them out??? I don't get it, its not like we are asking for crazy things, we are asking you to do something that will bring you profit!! And I know what Min-Liang Tan keeps saying about them making products for themselves and only thinking about selling as an afterthought but I swear you also keep saying that you love your fans so why not make thousands or even millions of your fans happy by releasing all of your products (specifically laptops) in Europe and UK???

    "Make more units..."

So that when the inevitable happens, and Razer refreshes to Kaby Lake, they are stuck with tons of unsold units? Think about what you are asking for...

What do you mean by: "think what you're asking for". I know exactly what I'm asking for, because the demand is huge for these laptops so they will sell quickly especially if it gets released to Europe. Also, I am not spamming, I'm trying to get the message across to razer.

Do you know how many people are sitting here now wanting to buy a razer laptop but they can't becauseits either sold out or it doesn't ship to Europe??

So making more units and shipping them out is the only way to to gain higher profit for razer and satisfy more fans because they can actually get their hands on one of the laptops.

Razer has never, ever, ever, been sitting there with unsold units but rather are sitting there with unsatisfied customers who have been spamming the "notify me" button for updates about new stock!!!!!

Does anyone know the exact specs of the Full HD blade's screen I'm really curious as to what manufacture it's from and if it's higher then 60hz

I sure hope the HDMI port is 2.0

Even though I had to enlighten you with the definition of spamming, I have edited my messages to make you happier!

(btw by your definition you were spamming because you posted 2 short messages in a row)

Can't agree more. Don't listen to the people saying you should expect it to be outdated immediately - it shouldn't be half the power and half the value only weeks after it is available!

  18. Ugh, I wish pre-orders were still open. I can't even pre-order anymore. Oh boy, the challenge of debating between the matte or IGZO touch.

Glad this is announced though, I literally almost won an eBay bid for an older model.

  19. Quite sure it's 100% of the power it was weeks ago
