Should i get the lowest stealth and a core, or just the next blade up, my desktop is already really good for gaming.

Anyone else got the stealth and having fan noise issues? Sounds like a dam motorboat when it kicks in during light usage.

I have a 12.5" going back for that exact reason. I also have a 13.3" that doesn't make those noises at all so it's definitely a defect of some kind.

The screen drives a great deal of the price, I assume. It is a gorgeous display. 3200x1800 in a 13.3" form factor. That's a higher DPI (276) than the SurfaceBook (267). So maybe the price comparisons should be to that? Otherwise the XPS, Spectre, or Zenbook might be a better option for you.

Sorry to ask again, but apart from Dave 2D claiming a little more than 7 hours in his testing I don't know, I can't find indications (Razer says 9 hours though).
When you say productivity, is this meaning Word or Excel and no Wifi?
When using at home, I'm essentially browsing internet (5 to 10 tabs in Chrome usually), make a few photo/gfx editing, and some video streaming from time to time. Would be that more demanding than in your usage?
That's really the last thing that is questionning me. I don't need it to run 22 hours but would want at around 6 hours in those conditions...
Any other user of this new Stealth to give a feedback in here by the way?

They are probably satisfied and busy with their new toys right now;) But will report something if they are having problems with it:)
Razer should write it "up to 9 hours" like in old stealth QHD advertisement, because every user has different way of using their machine, and even Razer could manage a better power efficiency, QHD+ and bigger screen theoretically need more power than QHD. I think dave2d shares his normal activity like paperwork, media consumption and video editing.

I'm honestly not as attracted to the blade than its wallpaper. Anyone got a copy of it? Looks amazing

The wallpaper that they use in marketing? Didn't come with mine.. I wouldn't mind getting it.
If anyone has it in 3200x1800... I'll be very thankful! lol

I was using mine either for internet browsing or on FL Studio making tunes for the game I was working on at the time. FL Studio just being open chewed the power a lot more, but my 5.5 hours was based on chrome usage at medium brightness with some downloading and streaming etc. I'm guessing the 7-9hours you can get is in like, Aeroplane mode on low brightness doing productivity stuff like Word.

I should also clarify that I never ran my battery that low, I think the lowest I got it was like 40-50% whilst using FL Studio, so I'm going off the windows estimate for battery life which may not reflect the actual result, although in my experience it tends to be pretty good if what you're doing is consistent, that and looking at the rate of discharge.

Using Photoshop or other editing tools will use a little bit more than just streaming/web browsing, which use more than just document editing. FL Studio uses a fair bit, more than Photoshop would I'd guess, so as an estimate I'd say you'd get ~4 hours if you spend all that time in photoshop, 5 with streaming/web surfing and a bit more if you're not doing much.

@Vaypron has a stealth and might be able to give you some of his experiences with it and power consumption too, although he has the older model I believe with the 6th Gen Processor, which is slightly less powerful, and also can be less power efficient compared to the 7th (I think, I'm not a super expert when it comes to the internals still)

"He" has a new one with 7th Gen Processor, do you even listen to me? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The power consumption highly depends on how you you use the Stealth. I would consider myself as a medium to heavy user. Browsing with multiple Tabs, using Visual Studio, compiling etc, etc. With all that stuff I can get around 5-6 hours depending on Display-Brightness, etc.

The times I use it as my UNI-Daily-driver(browsing, using word etc) I can reach 7-8, sometimes even 9 hours.
