I wouldn’t bring my Blade 14 to kitchen and looking videos while cooking etc, and i couldn’t hold it with one hand on the edge while typing with the other hand, but with Stealth I could;)

Considering the demographic that razer is shooting for I think that the pricing on the blade stealth is still decent comparatively to how the market trend is tipping towards it makes sense that they increased the price for at least this form of the stealth. Its mainly geared towards students and people who work in environments where they want a good build, decent spec laptop thats light and thin. In that regard I feel that the price hike compared to the original models is due to the increase in screen size, alongside the standard 16gbs of ram and the increased battery size. I've always felt as if the core was more meant for people who wanted to have that portability but when they're home having a gaming setup while only having to have one computer. Also its main use was to satisfy any people who wanted the a blade 14 but wanted the portability of the stealth. Id personally never buy a core unless it was cheap and/or included with a graphics card.

Hi there. I do video editing and a stickler against backlight bleed! Does anyone who has the 13" version notice any excessive backlight bleeding? Thank you!

It would be better if you upload some photo to know how bad it is, because even a MacBook has also such an issue. I have 12,5 Stealth not a month year old and could notice backlight but it’s acceptable (minor) and didn’t attract my eyes in normal usage (notice it in dark room on black background).

I don't have a RB Stealth. I'm just curious whether or not backlight bleed is present to any new users. Thank you.

Recently Razer updated the website to also state that the 13.3” models include a Dual-Core i7 processor. Do you guys think that by updating the choice that it insinuates that they’re going to release the stealth with the new quad core 8550u or 8650u i7 processor? Hope something comes up cause I’m buying a stealth really soon and I don’t want to have buyers remorse when they update the same model with an 8th gen processor a week after I buy it.

Dual Core i7 is already being used in stealth since 2016. Because 13,3 is still new I think you have to wait till maybe Q1~Q2 2018 to see Kabylake R on stealth.

Yeah, I know they’ve been using the same dual core i7 but when they came out with the 13” model it only specified the qhd and touch in the model description and they just recently specified dual core so I was just thinking they would probably only do that to differentiate models if they were to refresh it again.

I see your point. Yes those dual core at the end seems unusual, well there’s nobody knows when Razer will update their system maybe tomorrow or could be also next year. If you don’t rush to get one I would wait if I were you, i bought Stealth not for its faster CPU since I have HQ CPU laptop, 7500U is fast enough for my ultrabook needs.
    Edit: Kabylake R update confirmed;)

I literally just put in the order for the dual-core laptop last night at 11:57 PM cause I just accepted the fact that it was going to take a while for them to update/refresh... Is there any way for me to cancel my order so I can purchase the quad core or am I just SoL? Currently dying on the inside...:sob:

You’re living in US right? Use the chat support or call them directly, if they are already charging the money ask them to change it to stores voucher for quicker replacement.

Any plan for having the new AMD R7 2700U cpu in option for the Stealth? It would be much apreciated for the gamers (I mean light games) who don't go for the Core ...

No imo, Razer always go with intel and for gamers Stealth is made for the Core.

Just noticed today that the gunmetal case has a 1TB option while the black only max is 512.

I think the 1TB Black is out of stock. I remember going on the site a while ago and there was a option for 1TB in black, unless they decided to remove the option.

Yeah, went there the other day to notice it. Not sure when they added it. Thats really the only reason I'm considering a Quad-core RBS vs RB 14 in the spring/summer time. Unless I find out my current RBS can do all the task at hand on the road!

1TB on the dual core only not the quad core

Just curious but does the Razer logo on the gunmetal RBS light up at all? Gonna assume white if it does. Just like the Green logo on the Black chroma laptops.
