Orochi has Chroma lighting on the sides of the scroll wheel. Mamba has Chroma lighting all along the sides and back of the mouse.

At first, I wanted Orochi to have more Chroma as well, but as I've used it more and more, I appreciate the rubber sides and aluminum top. While not flashy, it's perfect in an office setting, portable, and has a perfect fit for my hand.

I'm having a problem. Where I can't get the mouse into pairing mode, no matter how long I press the four side buttons, and when. Anyone else with the same problem?

So, you have both batteries pushed in all the way down, the cable unplugged, the switch at the bottom set to "on," and then held down all 4 side buttons?

I would contact support. I had this issue and they replaced my Orochi.

So i have been going a little bit ballistic trying to get my new Orochi paired with a couple of my computers... Till I realised that they are only running BLUETOOTH 2.1 and not 4. Alas, soon ill have a new computer but till then. Le Sigh.

Anyone have any tips on how to reduce input latency with this mouse? I just got it and it's really noticeable in Bluetooth mode.

I'd ordinarily say "well that's just how Bluetooth is", but with this mouse I don't get latency like this at all:

    https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Arc-Touch-Mouse-Surface/dp/B00FG7MZP0

It's just that mouse is uncomfortable to use with gaming.

lol, sorry i don't want to sound mean or anything, but i guess razer themselves knew of it's latency and that's why they give the usb adapter for it, if you wanted a wireless gaming mouse i believe there are other way better options out there, the razer mamba, the logitech g900 among others, even though they are expensive they give the almost 0 latency anyone would want with wireless mice

  15. same here! i bought the mouse about 4 months ago and since then i havent used it much. now, im starting to use it more often and its really getting on my nervous. im just browsing, emails, forums, work etc. light usage and i tend to misclick a lot because of the late latency. in the past i used the dell wm524 bluetooth mouse and it gave me no problems. i gave it away to a friend because it was inexpensive and i thought i should buy myself a more quality mouse to go along with my new dell xps 13 and so i did.

please dont bring up the cable because im not going to use it unless if the batteries run out. we can all agree the razer orochi is expensive and the first issue i have is the connection latency.

i went back 6 pages and no one brought up the latency issue, could it be that my mouse is defected or can more people confirm the latency problem?
im using windows 10, with anniversary update.
    dell xps 13 9343
    bluetooth 4.1

I have the exact same issue. Me and my girlfriend bought it at the same time, and both have the same problem. The moment i move my mouse there is a good 200ms latency before the cursor does what it needs to do. It moves correctly but there is a 200ms delay... The latency increases with distance, at about 4 meters it struggles to get packets across (but thats not how i intent to use it, just for the sake of completeness). Mouseclicks are still instant.

I send an email to customer service and they say i need to clean the sensor, or use a different usb port hahahaha. Both mouses, wireless and new out of the box, same problem. Its not the sensor because wired it is the best mouse ive ever had. And my Razor Orochi 2013 has no difference in wired or wireless.

    I have tried the following:
    - other Pc's (even on my galaxy s7 the 2016 version laggs like hell and the 2013 version is smooth as butter).
    - different batteries (rechargable and non-rechargable)
    - multiple orochi 2016 mouses on different platforms and different laptops.
    - contact razer support (suggesting stuff that was not helpfull for me)

    Setup:
    Microsoft Surface Pro 3 - i5, 256gb, 8gb
    Windows 10 Pro 64bit - Insider 14393.105

If anyone has any idea, please feel free to message me.
