Entry level mouse to get people's feet wet into gaming mouse from razer. Then when they get used to it they will upgrade to a higher and better mouse.

Hey guys, would the Goliathus Speed or Control mousepad be better for the Abyssus v2? I would mainly be playing LoL or CSGO. Thanks.

Good to see upgrades to older models of mice. Plus its great for those who don't want to spend much yet get a really great gaming mouse.

Looks great! Glad to see a mouse at a lower price, which could be beneficial marketing to students!

Do you use a speed or control mat now? Hard or soft mat surface currently?

I would think control would be better for precision of distance and stopping on a dime.

True, but those other mice feel too big and uncomfortable for my grip style. Maybe in future revisions we'll get a chroma model alongside this... I own several Abyssus mice, for light gaming, graphics, and general use, it is my favorite mouse, and I look forward to picking up this new version.

Thanks, I don't even use a mousepad at the moment :3

Ah. Soft mats are recommended to be gentler on your mouse feet (mouse glides smoother, longer).

When you play, do you swipe your arm in large motions or mostly hold it still while flicking your wrists?

I just re-read your post. I had never heard of Cynosa prior to this.

I wanted to comment that the Abyssus only has the left and right click buttons, scroll wheel, and a button right below the scroll wheel. There are no thumb buttons (might be a deal breaker for you).
