Overall liking the Basilisk a lot but I'm having an issue with the sensitivity of the scroll wheel (how quickly it scrolls content for each click).

Synapse 3 doesn't give any option to adjust this, instead it takes me to Windows mouse config.
    There I can specify how many lines each wheel click moves a page and it works fine in Windows;
However this has no effect in games.

For example, in Divinity Original Sin 2 I have to turn the wheel countless times to scroll down in the inventory screen, or in Dungeons 3 it takes far too many wheel turns to zoom in and out. My other brand mice did not exhibit this behavior.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I just go the mouse yesterday.

I tried out the Corsair Glaive for a few days and it just wasnt for me. I didn't like the side button placement and shape and I really missed my sniper button from my Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum (I will get it back when I move my stuff, but I wanted to try out another mouse).

So far Im really digging the Basilisk. The only I would like is a longer clutch so I dont have to move my hand up the mouse so much (I like resting my hand on the mouse, using the contour of the mouse; not clawing on the mouse). I really wish they would come up with an additional longer clutch, but I doubt they will listen at this point. Right now the longest one comes out about 1/2 way through button 5. It would be nice to have a clutch that goes all they way to the back of button 5 so I dont have to reach for it. I mean they are interchangeable, can you please add some more options?

The other thing missing is a weight system. I really like having the option of changing the weight of my mouse. I had the G502 with all the weights and I digged the heavier feel.

I really like the look of the mouse and the overall feel of it. I will give it a few days to see if grows on me. If it doesn't I will go back to my G502.

I just got this mouse today, I love the shape and feel of it but I can't get synapse 2.0 to recognise it :slightly_sad:

Unfortunately, Synapse 2 does not support/recognize the Basilisk mouse (I have one too). Synapse 3 should install automagically when you plug the Basilisk in, but if that is not happening, here is what I would recommend:
    1. Go to the Synapse 3 website and download the software
    2. Install Synapse 3 and reboot when prompted
    3. Synapse 3 should automatically load when Windows starts...but in my experience, sometimes it doesn't (I have never been able to figure out why). If it's running, you should see the icon in your system tray - double clicking on it will launch Razer Central and you can launch Synapse 3 from there. If it's not running, find it in your Windows start menu and launch it.
    4. Once it's running, it should detect your Basilisk and allow you to start configuring it.
In my experience, this all happens automatically. What operating system are you running? If you are on Windows 10, have you been upgraded to v1709 Fall Creators Update?

This is the first mouse in a while that does not hurt my hand, the extra thumb room is a plus.

  11. I love everything about this mouse except for the size. Its too small for my large hands. Hey! Tell the guys in R&D to make a Basilisk XL and I'll be the first in line to buy one!

I have this mouse for a week now, but it seems the mouse instantly wakes my pc when i put it in sleep mode... i even tried changing settings in the bios. Does anyone with an Asus board have the same issue?

still deciding between the basilisk and the lancehead

  17. What grip style do you use? If you use claw or fingertip, the Lancehead is nice. If you use claw or palm, you can't beat the scroll wheel on the Basilisk.

I have been using the deathadder series for the past 5 years or so. 3 deathadders bought thus far, but my most recent one seems to start doubleclicking which makes it hard for me to play fps
