Hey guys, I have been a long time RAZER user since the initial Lachesis release and been all the more proud of the company since they released the left-handed edition of the NAGA. I still applaud them for the courage of deliberately offering this kind of service to us lefties, knowing it would not be financially worth it on the long run due to a small niche playerbase in an itself very specific kind of gaming. Having said that, I still own the Naga, but have recently tried the ORBWEAVER Chroma as a set leftie as well as the MAMBA TE and I slowly start getting used to it. My newest acquirement ist the Blackwidow Chroma v2, which I absolutely love design- and switchwise. I have a problem however. It is the 2nd keyboard already and it has the same flaw/error/problem as the first which I returned thinking ist was defect. The flaw is as follows: Key J doesn't work. Key H neither. However, when I press H, the keyboard sets a fixed combination of letters and keys, which is reproducible. It is something like this (can't give you the exact sequence, because the keyboard works at the moment, and I will tell You why it does in a minute): lqsrtdjh34582939339093aqwyxccvtz. It does even use the J in the sequence. With the second keyboard I thought that cannot be the same mechanical problem as I had with the first one. What I did then was shutting down SYNAPSE and both keys work. WITH SYNAPSE they do not. Which is a problem. I wanted my peripherals to be synchronized via SYNAPSE, but not being able to type properly is not acceptable. This is the reason why I came here hoping to get some answers or possible fixes. TY in advance from Germany
This is the exact letter/number sequence it lays out every time I press H: gawsdeerfg654894352316541321549687lskdfjeoiurwelkhjsekjhefsiurt7jsldfk I tried disconnecting all other USB-devices but my Naga and the Blackwidow. Did also switch their USB ports. Same problem.
Did u accidentally create a macro by hitting FN + F9? Try exiting out of synapse or look at your keys to see if you H key is not set to default.
Is there a chance that the Razer Store will get it with orange and yellow Switch in German Layout soon? I want to buy it, but it sold out for weeks :'(
not worth it to buy a razer product specially blackwidow croma. i have my blackwidow croma lightning issues 10-15 caps wont sync the lightning effects and i dont have a warranty anymore cuz it last for 1 year only..gg razer team.
You saved me. I must have accidentally pressed fn+f9 and ist did save the combination there. I deleted them manually and thanks to You, I am quite fond now of my new peripheral combination.
Xannot I actually assigned the M keys on the left side for volume up and down and mute. I don't really do macros so this was ideal for me.
Is it possible to somewhere get "mechanical key tester" with Green, Orange and Yellow key to test, and make a decision which version to buy? It would be great
Hopefully, we will see it in a couple of months. I can tell lots of people are waiting for it, including me I believe the tester you are mentioning was only sent to some of the reviewers along with the new BlackWidow V2. The only way to test the switches now is to go out and look for Razer keyboards in markets. You can test the switches through the box .
In Poland I've never seen BlackWidow Green & Orange in one shop, so couldn't compare it "key-to-key".
Hmm, I see. You can try ordering through an online shop and test the switch you are interested in. If you don't like it you can make use of the 2 week return policy and get your money back. I think this is the only way in your case.
Ever since I used audio visualizer for my DA Elite, I have been craving for a blackwidow chroma. Please bring one in rewards
