Y u so mad these days bro?
The symbols remain unlit. See here for an explanation why.
Sound should be similar to the Orange switch.
These mechanical switches are similar to Cherry MX Red and Cherry MX Speed. Honestly for your situation, I would consider a membrane keyboard designed for durability. There are shock/water proof keyboards out there that can be washed and rolled up for storage. I think there are better solutions for handicapped users out here.
It's their 2016 design refresh font. Same font they use here on Insider and Razerzone. It is also used for the BW X and Ornata. I happen to like it because it's more clean and consistent. Better overall design.
    Not magnetic.

This is neat and all. But make the TE with detachable cable + wristrest and I'll buy it...even if I don't need it!

Now i wonder what people are going to say about it. Some people may not like it mainly for that reason, Although something tells me some people may not use the wrist rest at all because of the light-up Razer logo.

He never replied regarding that so I never got a straight answer haha, but I'm guessing it is magnetic after all.

He also never replied with which switch the V2 was shipping out with, kinda curious especially with that new green switch that has been floating around the past few days.

Haha maybe that guy just got confused? I mean the the press release ARMOR_152 linked describes it as magnetic. Well that's definitely good to hear.

    +1 for BW V2

The only thing i'm not so sure about is the Razer logo being covered by the wrist rest, considering my original 2014 BlackWidow Chroma scratched because I wiped it down with a low quality microfiber cloth, not sure if the wrist rest would demolish the logo over time.

Welp my CES Sale Chroma Stealth showed up at my doorstep this afternoon. Don't know if I'll Keep it, ship it back, sell it, or buy a V2 Yellow as well?

Is the wrist rest still not going to be sold separately for us X owners?

Thats what a lot of people are hoping for right now. The only thing is that i think the new Blackwidow V2 is bigger then the Blackwidow X, So they would need to make a new wrist rest for it. Will not be surprised if they did start selling replacement ones though.

I kinda agree with this, I wish they sold this keyboard without the macro keys as well, similar to Corsair's K70/K95 Platinum lineup. I never used the macro keys on my 2014 BW: Chroma and it just took up room on my desk.

I prefer the less bulky design of the BW: X as well as the top right indicators on the X compared to the glossy ones on the V2, basically the less glossy stuff on products, the better, as they're scratch and dust magnets.

The lighting on the standard Chroma and V2 is more clean and brighter as well compared to the BW X.

I guess my ideal BlackWidow would be something like the Ornata to be honest, clean design, not too bulky, no macro keys, status indicators all in a straight line, white backplate for that extra lighting and no extra glossy accents on the logo.

I've already seen this several days ago leaked on reddit, but I didn't want to spoil the surprise so I stayed quiet here... If I remember correctly it even has a chroma keychain, I really want the keychain I'd pay like $5 for it...

Darnit - now I need two new keyboards. LOL
I'm absolutely DYING to try out the Ornata still ... but I want think thing sooooo badly!!!
I'm drawn to the wrist rest, that's one of the things I miss most about losing my older Razer Tarantula keyboards. (I went through two of those) I still really want to feel the Ornata keys for myself and use one for a while ... but I think, in all honesty, I'd prefer the stealth version of the Blackwidow Chroma V2 the most.

Choices, choices .... darn it again... lol
