happy to say I got my Razer Blade Pro today rather than Monday when I was gonna be out of town. Ordered on the 18th and got it on the 23rd, so not bad at all:) Keyboard is amazing, second favorite behind my MSI Titan GT80 which I just sold.
  2. received mine yesterday, thunderbolt port not working anyone else having issues?

Oh man Razer has got to do something about their shipping. Razer is a small company so everyone excuses them for this but it's ridiculous and not that hard. I ordered on the 18th and received a shipping notification today when I woke up. The tracking number says it was delivered yesterday and that some random person signed for it. My neighbors are gone for thanksgiving so I have to wait until they get back to even know if they are the ones who have it. They could have told me it was going to ship a few days ago instead of December 27th.. sent a tracking number when it was useful.. the website doesn't even register I ordered.. literally any information would have prevented this and now I have to stress until my neighbors get back and hope whoever has it is good enough to not open or sell it. Just what I need for the holidays.. at least I like your products, Razer......

Hi All, Does the power brick have a kettle lead which can be replaced with a UK one?

Can we get a few more 3dmark benchmark runs from others who have received the RBP?

It would be good to see the RBP achieve a 3dmark graphics score closer to what the GPU is capable of.

Where / How do we get the Free Watch Dogs 2?

I see the ad saying its included with the purchase. For those of us whos computer just showed up, I assume we will be getting a copy of it. Question is when and how?

Sadly if your order went through before the promo date began (Nov 23rd I think) u don't get it. You can return the laptop, reorder and get it, which is what they told me I could do. Sort of silly. I'd rather not potentially be stuck in waiting limbo.

Hopefully this will mean the increase the chances of Razer giving us an all-in-one computer to compete with the iMac in the near future!

In reality though, isn't this just a GIANT "F U!" to left handed users? I mean, if the trackpad positioning isn't thoughtful enough, what might that say about the rest of the hardware?! :frown_::frown_:

I dunno. . that it was made to be sold to the 98ish% of the world, who are right handed?
Honestly, the touch screen ALMOST negates the need for a trackpad entirely, and almost anyone who buys a Razer notebook is probably going to use a mouse ANYWAY.

You'd also have to redesign the entire motherboard and chassis to acommodate a left handed version, reverse ports, possible battery redesign . . . .

I hate to be the jerk that says it, but it's just not economically feasible for the miniscule amount of estimated left-handed customers.

Hmm... has the thought passed your mind that having the trackpad in the middle
    (like pretty much every other manufacturer does) suits both orientations equally? (-;
[and, needless to say, that doesn't require separate right- and left-handed designs]

And, no: I don't use a mouse and prefer to not to poke the screen.
(BTW, I'm right-handed, but I still think it's awkward to have to lift
my hand from the keyboard and move it a considerable distance
side-ways.. I might as well touch the screen with that much effort)

Actually it makes more sense to put it on the RH side and fill the palm rest with battery to simplify construction. It ALSO makes sense that, since the SBUI in the old Pro was oriented on the RH side, keeping the trackpad on the right simplified the modifications to the motherboard.

As for "too much effort" but "don't use mouse". . . I'm sorry they didn't design the Blade Pro to your personal specifications. I've used the old Blade pro. . . and after a little adjustment period it's REALLY not that bad. You may disagree, and it's very subjective.

You can always try it, and if you don't like it you can donate the machine to me :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

If left-handed users are only a fraction (5% or less) of users, it makes total sense to design the product to suit the >95% of customers who are right-handed. A right-handed user will place a mouse on the right hand side of a laptop, so if they'd like to use a touchpad instead wouldn't one on the right side make perfect sense?

I think Razer made the right call here, and my apologies for the left handed amongst us.

I just checked alienware and msi laptops with gtx1080 and both of them comes with 330w power supply. Wondering if my razer blade pro with 250w power supply will under perform?

    Soon (TM)

Currently US site says "Ships from Dec 14th" for 512 and 1TB models And "From Dec 21" for 2TB models [as of the time of this posting]

Of course that really doesn't mean they can't open up pre-orders for other regions, but it's impossible to say really.
