About the same as it was on my desktop rig w/ 6700k @ 4.7Ghz and Desktop GTX 1080 reference card. AKA: Flawless
But this is really expensive though :v I would buy like ten of them with a small loan of a million dollars
Given the high level of tech and the premium build, price is actually in line with other high end flagship builds for the level of tech included. If the price is too high for the 17", you can get a 14" with a 1080 matte screen for half. Sure, it's not as big, but it has the same CPU, and the 1060 should blow a 1080 screen out of the park. It should ALSO get a bit better battery life [best I've done is about 3:15 before hitting 10%] About the only thing you lose [besides screen real estate] is the absolutely AMAZING trackpad: People were complaining about it not being on the bottom, but with the media controls it becomes INSANELY intuitive REALLY fast. It's also smoother than the 14" or skylake blade stealth trackpads: Feels like a true MacBook transplant. It's a little. . sensitive, but it's such a minor gripe next to how amazing it feels.
Entertaining, but not true. GPU appears capped @ 70c. I wonder if this is part of the reason Nvidia hasn't green lighted the Blade Pro's 1080 for WHQL drivers yet...
Shouldn't be hot keyboard and palm rest area is warm. I've played 6 hours straight and it's not hot but warm. The only area that should be hot is the left top side between screen and keyboard
Sorry if this has been asked before but couldn't find it. Is it possible to split the Raid-0 drives into 2 regular drives. I want to use one as primary and the other for separate purpose.
II have now looked at the BIOS, and ACHI [standard drive] *IS* supported. Just keep in mind you're talking about a full format/reinstall of Windows. (I'm sure you already knew that, but never hurts to mention just in case) [edited w/ new information]
Anyone here from Toronto ordered a razer laptop? How's the custom duties? 13% of the price? Planning to buy the new razer blade stealth. Thanks
Anyone having issues with the power brick? I think mine is dead. Or any ideas on how to get a replacement until razer releases them in the store?
Haven't had any issues with mine, you could try a different wall plug in to see if it's the cable or the Power supply. Also never hurts to try a different outlet. . "just in case"
I've tried different everything. The green light doesn't turn on under any conditions and Razer uses the new connector that isn't available anywhere else? So I guess I have a brick for a while..
For the people talking about the price for performance, it is a laptop. They are trying to keep it thin and light while also making it as powerful as a desktop, and they did a very good job at that, so a price this high should be expected.
