If the Blade Stealth + Core + GPU cost less than a Razer Blade 14 or 17 and if they start to ship it to Europe, i'm sold.

Razer place stores in the places the fans vote for the most, they don't take profits and costs into consideration, they go where the fans point.

    Dear Razer,
Will i be able to use the Razer Core with older versions of the blade? (i own a Razer Blade 14' 2014) or will i have to buy something like an usb to usb-c adapter? (will that even work, i have no idea!)
    Greetings,
    Tristan Boland #Razerlove

  13. Wut. We're talking about desktop GPUs not the laptop GPUs in the next Razer Blade.

  14. No. They don't have the new Thunderbolt 3.0 USB-C port.

Ugh, do get the Blade '14 at the Winter Event sale or get the Blade Stealth and Razer Core! Decisions, decisions...

  16. The old Razer Blade 14 is now part of an old generation of laptops which can't do VR gaming, and cannot run desktop GPUs. This year is a generational leap with the introduction of external GPUs. When everybody is enjoying VR gaming on their $800 PCs, you'll be sitting there with your old Razer Blade '14 unable to even run the game. Get the Ultrabook, at least this one can run a desktop GPU.

Isn't $999 not to much for a ultrabook with such low specs ? or am i completly wrong ?

  18. It doesn't have a dedicated GPU. You can get a much better looking XPS 15 with a bigger screen in a smaller package with a dedicated GPU and a quad core processor for only $200 more.

That said, it's ok. I might preorder it if they announce a close Razer Core release date, and reviews show no bottleneck with the GTX 980ti.

Ok thx for the reply :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I really like the look of the device tho and am looking for a new laptop/ultrabook to go to University with. But like to game (a lot), what would be the best option the razer or another laptop ?

Good point with the VR gaming, which is something I'm very interested in. Thanks for help!
