Kick your laptop into overdrive and unlock desktop-grade gaming performance with the new Razer Core V2:

Featuring the world’s first Thunderbolt 3 design, the Razer Core V2 splits graphics and I/O in two different lanes, optimizing the data flow for fluid gameplay and rock-solid device connection. All wrapped in a single Thunderbolt 3 port for a convenient plug-and-play experience—making the Razer Core V2 compatible with all Razer Blade systems.

Redesigned on the inside, the Razer Core V2 boasts expanded headroom while retaining the same compact footprint. This allows the latest NVIDIA GeForce 10-series, NVIDIA Quadro and AMD Radeon GPUs to fit in, letting you play the most demanding games at max performance. Equipped with a 500W power supply combined with additional fans, your graphics card remains juiced up and cool to prevent any sort of bottleneck on your playtime

Powered by Razer Chroma and forged in strong CNC aluminum, the Razer Core V2 looks amazing on your desk, syncing with your other Razer gear through Razer Synapse—the perfect device to level up your setup.

The world’s first plug-and-play graphics enclosure sets the standard with the Razer Core V2 - now available on RazerStore:

Yeah that's what I'm also wondering about. I guess Asia and the US are more important to Razer. I'm still waiting for the Razer Blade to become available in the Netherlands...

Exactly - and it still has bugs caused by firmware/software that were never fixed. But hey, V2 hype, right?!

Yes, only the black one, Gunmetal not;) Kd
Should be, it’s one of its features since v1.

I knew it! I'm hoping this launches everywhere like what happened with the new blades when the older versions didn't make it to various stores. If I can buy one at Pax Australia I'm taking it home with me ;)

Also judging by the way they've changed the design it would appear my hunch about what caused the port issues on the old core may have been correct.

I wonder if this will still have the USB connections that the V1 had.
I wish they would've added some storage options in, but I suppose the new Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will fix storage issues since OneDrive won't gobble up local storage. I think it's still nice to have SOME extra local storage.

I still can't use my V1 with any of the best 1080ti's because they don't have the headroom to fit.
It seems like this is the only real change. I wonder if they'll offer swaps/upgrades for previous gen users like myself that still can't really use it due to this but I highly doubt it :/

I hope they keep supporting the V1. Incidentally, I have had my 1080TI Founders edition in it and it worked fine.

Seems to address the unfixable fault that many of the original Cores shipped with against advertised function.

Will Razer offer a free exchange to all those customers who bought the v1 to use with peripherals as well as a graphics card?

I'm still glad I managed to get a refund for mine when I did but at least this is a step in the right direction. I'll await reviews eagerly
