Im going to have to vote for pubg. I despise playing single player games as the lack of competition bores me. Also hunger game style games is what really hooked me into gaming, so pubg is just the next evolution of that.

If you have mates; to play with ( : '< ), get PUBG . But I've played the Witcher 3 and the story plus gameplay the game offers is absolutely immersive!

@Razer|WolfPack LOL - I'm so glad you called him out, because if you didn't then I was thinking I might have to. *laughs*

@Razer|Gwynbleidd - short and to the point, I love your post and agree with every bit of it, granted, that's partly because I agree with you on every point. I'm just such a huge fan of The Witcher series and Geralt. They're such well stories and characters.

I did not know that. That's actually really cool. Might have to support them through GOG then.
  5. I enjoyed the story line in the first Witcher. I tried very hard to get into the Witcher 2, but I hated the "updated" combat and after a couple of hours in the game I just wasn't enjoy it enough to power through it like I did for the first game. I figure the Witcher 3 wouldn't hold my attention either.

As for PUBG, I find it entertaining when I'm playing with a couple of friends. Usually there are 4 of us on Teamspeak and we do match mode. We tend to make it down to around rank #10 or better on most runs, but sometimes you get the crap kicked out of you right away. The game is still going through adjustments and issues with performance and syncing are clearly visible. Even if you have a beastly of a gaming machine, you won't run 60fps very well with everything maxed out.

i5-4670k @ 4.3 and 980Ti, I've got view distance up all the way and shadows/grass down to medium and a mix of other settings to keep around 60fps. Even though I have a pretty steady frame rate and a solid internet connection, I still find it often enough that when I come across enemies (unless they're cheating) are popping around or are not actually in the spot where I see them on my screen and my shots aren't hitting them.

If you're big into games such as PUBG, you should enjoy it enough to find it a worthwhile investment. Don't take the game too serious yet and don't expect spectacular performance from the game all the time since it's still going through development and you should do well.

IMO, I'd go for the Witcher 3. Replay value is top notch. Plus, the interesting sidequests. You can pound hours and hours of gaming. But then, I'd go for PUBG for the online play and the like.

The Witcher 3. It's hands down the best game I played the last few years. Even Breath of the Wild couldn't hold a candle to it!

The Witcher 3 is definitely my choice but PUBG could be fun for people looking for a coop shooter game.
  9. Would like to know also. Haven't played either myself.
