For all the folks who have already received their Razer blades, can you answer this main question? I read that Razer had to redesign their entire thermal system of this new razer blade laptop. Gizmodo in its review mentions that the laptop gets super hot when playing games to a point where it was making a lot of noise and they could feel the the extreme heat on their lap while playing games. Is the thermal situation of this laptop better than the 2015 model? Does it heat up even during regular usage like browsing or watching videos?

The thermal situation is better than last years model.
First off, if they were "Gaming" on their lap, there is something wrong with that. You normal use the device on a flat hard surface, not a soft fibrous surface which retains heat.

I was on the machine last night for about 3 hours (mostly doing setup) and about 25 minutes playing Fallout 4 @ 1080p with HIGH settings and didn't have any issues. I couldnt hear the fans, the game was rocking at 60fps consistently. I had it one of those hard surface lap desk.

the only complaint I have it the new blade feels like I have a $250 laptop display...not that bright and feels like a basic intel 530 graphics card, nothing as crisp as my dell 5510...other than that good laptop

Could you guys give some actual numbers? From what I've seen it still hits temps in the 90's.
