Like I said in another forum post, using Ampere to measure charging performance is the wrong way to do things. Ampere measures charging current, which with regular USB-PD would be fine since it operates at a constant 5v, however with Qualcomm quick charge devices, the phone and charger will not only dynamically change the charging current, but also the charging voltage, which as far as I know, no app is capable of reading. Rest assured, the phone IS charging faster. The 0%-70% charge speed is where the fast numbers come from. The 70-100%, like every device, is charged slower to maintain battery health.

You also can't compare charging speeds between devices because the Razer phone remember does have a bigger battery. You have to look at charging power, which we express in watts. The Razer Phone with Qualcomn Quickcharge 4+ (The only device in the world that actually supports it at the moment), does indeed have the ability to charge at the fastest rate compared to any other known phone.

Did i mention. ... I have 2 razer phones in the household. .. So i can, compare

I can easily test qc 4.0 vs qc 3.0, but ... Id rather spend my free time elsewhere. From what i can tell (ymmw) ... . The razer oem charger/qc 4.0 is not life changing fast compared to using an el cheap-o anker/no name brand qc 3.0 charger

If youd like to buy 2 razer phones.... And test out qc 4 vs qc 3 side by side ..... Id totally kick a few $ your way to show some appreciation for your efforts

I tend to listen to music with earphones and charge at the same time every now and then, so I honestly don't like the move of removing the headphone jack. And I don't like using wireless headphones either because I don't like the wireless spectrum to be any more crowded (don't judge me, I'm an electronics student who cares but probably just overthinks :stuck_out_tongue:.)

Sony XZ1 Compact. Screen colours are very accurate, camera takes great photos and video, but I don't understand the point of having 960fps slo-mo. It is too slow and can only run for a few seconds at a time. Only have to charge every couple days even tho I spend at least 2 hours on the phone every day. Speakerphone and ringer are loud enough to hear in our workshop, although the flashlight (torch) is nowhere near as bright as iphone's.

It charges fast with razer stealth charger, unlike previous X compact which would charge but it was glacially slow unless you used the sony brick.

Maybe it's not that old for some people, I tend to replace my phone every year so this is more than halfway through it's useful life. IMO the more expensive models do not last any longer. I'm honestly surprised at how well this one has held up, since October and it still looks practically brand new. Maybe it will last longer than normal.

I like having the fingerprint on the side. Too bad Sony killed off the headphone jack. I prefer bluetooth normally but if the phone is ringing already, it is a lot easier to just plug a headset in than pair bluetooth.

Still my favourite phones of all time will be the Lumia 920, and iPhone 4s. Both timeless classics, especially with the Lumia in white, red, or yellow.

No doubt 120fps is a killer spec, but how many games out there that is really supporting 120Hz display?

And is it because of 120fps always on, people are complaining about the battery life?

According to this, it seems quite a lot, don’t know the reality though since my SE RP;) still on the way.
    It could be costumized right?

Razer does make an announcement saying that not all the games in the list go up until 120fps.

Who knows some newb turn on 120Hz all day then crap about the poor battery life...

If I could downvote a user or a users posts, I would downvote you and all your posts.
You seem to have a grudge against Razer and their products, the phone doesn't suck. It might suck for you, but then why buy it in the first place?

I had some issues with the hardware, my phone froze at random times at least 1-2 times a day and I had to do a hard reboot. I contacted support and had it replaced. The new one works great, no issues at all. I'm sure you could have yours replaced too if it is not working properly, have you even tried this?

And people complaining about no 3.5 m.m. jack? Really? Just get bluetooth headphones or use the adapter (at least Razer includes one with the phone instead of selling it seperately).

The few games I actually play are much smoother than on any other phone I've seen yet, the speakers are perfect for me when I am cooking and want to watch something at the same time. I've got no problems hearing it over the noise I make in the kitchen.
The battery is killer and the display is crisp. And it charges really fast as well.

The 120Hz sure lured me into getting the phone, but I had no illusions that it would work with every app on the Play Store. And I cant really agree with any stuttering in other games as others seem to experience.

-get the google camera app. it improves the camera IMMENSELY. the camera hardware is good. its just the app is bad

-actually i preferred this. the DAC gave me incredibly loud and amazing sound quality. i owned samsung, sony. and iphones before this and i can safely say razer phone sounds the best for me

-no defense here, its slow as hell.

-compared to other flagship. this is cheap as heck

-its build for gaming. so IPS is best. i dont think OLED has 120hz screen either. if you wanted those cool OLED screens. get samsung phones. Razer Phone is for gamer

-its actually amazing for me. long ass battery life and ridiculous charging speed.

i dont know which phone you bought. did you buy a nexbit?

Not only for you, to any human I think. Tested against IPhoneX and S9 plus in electronics stores, Razer Phone loudness catch even the staff eye there, on stores environment loudness it’s still louder, it’s like Bluetooth speaker on Audio corner said the staff, meanwhile with IPhoneX and S9+ You have to closing your ears to the device, the difference is like day day (night is too close;))

The battery will go down quicker if you've got everything cranked up, Cameras are pretty good if you install Google Camera App modded APK and there is an adapter for your earphones if you like me and not a fan of the adapter buy a pair of Bluetooth earphones/ headphone also I just got my Razer Phone and can I just say its a fab phone. I genuinely don't know why your slating it.

Is installing it doesn’t avoid the guarantee? I’m good with default camera apps since it’s don’t take a lot snapshots with that and I’ve other phone to do that but if it performs better it’s nice to have.

No it doesn't void warranty to install an app.
Link for the best one for us is on that page or you can try the Nokia camera app at the last post.

I haven't tried the Nokia one as it won't work on Oreo but the Google camera is much much better.
