Hi i'd like to know if this one is compatible or are there better/cheaper ones. All i need are at least 2 Video outputs and a couple of USB ports and a ethernet jack would be nice.

i'd suggest you using the Dell WD15. it has got USB 3.0, VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet and Audio. I'm using it to drive 2 fullhd monitors on my razer blade 14". works perfectly!

OK thx i got the HP Tunderbolt 3 Dock ~60W and it works for 3 Monitors (the third is on VGA) although the third one flickers especially when i open a Fullscreen programm on my main monitor fe. a Game. Also what i noticed was that my mouse freezes every 5-30sec. But the HDD-Dock i have runs fine even when i copy GB worth of data, strange.
I don't know if this is a Windows problem or thunderbolt problem. Now i have my mouse + keyboard dircetly attached on my Blade early 2017.
But without that it works and that is great.

so the one on the VGA port flickers? would it be a solution to attach the third one to the HDMI port of the blade? it's not perfect since you've to plug in another wire, but it'd be worth it if the flickering goes away i guess.

i'm only using 2 monitors, so i can't say anything about the VGA out of the dell dock

Yeah that is what i use now. But i think there are to much problems with Thunderbolt now. I hope they get there sh*** together bc i'm not the only one that has major problems.
Also what i noticed was the HP dock has a Thunderbolt 3 port for Daisy jain etc. when i used a Usb c to display port adapter for the third Display it wont recognize it. When i rebooted only this Monitor was recognized but as soon as i unplugged this one the two others turned on. this is really anoying.

well, it's kinda annoying to deal with stuff like that on a 2k premium device. but to be fair, thunderbolt 3 is pretty new and it's probably not completely razers fault.

does the HP dock have USB 2.0 as well? for some weird reason i had the same problems you had with my keyboard+mouse when connected to a usb 3.0 port on the dock, but when using usb 2.0 it's working just fine. no idea how this is handled internally. but i agree, there really is much to improve! i still love it however. i only have to connect power and my usb-c dock and i've got my desktop pc fully running, which is pretty awesome

    No "only" 4 USB 3.0
I love it to Ethernet, external HDD 2 DP Monitors, but on my Blade i have Usb hub for keyboard + mouse and HDMI becouse VGA flickers.
but for Thunderbolt there is a lot of pontential.

if you can still return the hp dock, you might want to give the dell dock a try. it's about the same price. it's still currently the best solution i guess for having a portable powerhouse that you can use at home like a desktop device, so i'm still happy with it

no, i've just seen people on this forum suggesting the Dell WD15. That's why i got it and i'm really satisfied with it. My external HDD works flawlessly, Gigabit ethernet is good, keyboard+mouse is working when using the USB 2.0, audio is also good and my 2 FullHD Monitors work flawlessly with the dock. but i didn't ever try the VGA port, so i don't know if its flickery

  11. I have the same issue with a couple diffreent thunderbolt 3 docks. the HP thunderbolt 3 dock and an anker usb c hdmi usb 3 adaptor. razer naga and x will not stay connected. Has to be a thunderbolt 3 issue.

I recently got the Razer Blade 2017 and have been through two adapters for dual monitor output through the Thunderbolt port with neither working; one of them was the WD15. Did you have to install anything extra or go through any extra steps in general to get the WD15 working? I have downloaded and updated all of the recommended drivers and am at a loss on how to get the Blade to output to an external monitor via the Thunderbolt. Figured I would scan the forums for advice before I hit up Tech Support.

Update: i cant get the firmware update to run on the dock. Making the dock useless. Also i have 2 2560x1440 monitors and the dock cannot push both those displays at their full potential. So i will be returning it regardless. I guess i'll get the dell TB16 if i cant find anything else
