Thunderbolt Firmware update? Blade base 2018

I began getting this error a few weeks ago.

" A Thunderbolt controller has experienced a problem and cannot connect to devices or other computers until new firmware is installed. Other Thuderbolt ports may be functioning normally. Please contact PC manufacturer for a firmware update to restore full Thunderbolt functionality. "

My thunderbolt port has not worked since. I have tried running the intel thunderbolt driver update but it says there is a more current version installed. I tried to contact razer support for the firmware but my laptop is out of warranty so I guess I cant even talk to support??? Not sure where to find a firmware update and have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the intel thunderbolt software.

Any help would be super appreciated. Thank you!
