THX Spatial Audio for PCs application broken

The Windows application responsible for the codec-level THX Spatial Audio feature is no longer functioning: the loading icon next to the spatial audio toggle never goes away and none of the settings are functional.
This has been corroborated by other users on the Microsoft Store's review page for the application.
I am using a 2021 Blade 15 Advanced on Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.120 (KB5008215)

Latest Win11 seems to break THX support, however it got fixed somehow by updating drivers (I'm using Driver Booster for this), to be specific I had 2 updates available - one for Ethernet (driver date 22.06.2021) and one is for Intel Serial IO GPIO Host Controller - INT3450 (driver date 02.08.2021). By installing these I got my sound back even without restarting system. YMMV of course.

I had great hope for being able to fix the problem as I identified and installed the same driver updates (amongst others) as you did using that application but it unfortunately made no difference in my case... strange.
I hope Razer/THX find a fix for this because it's starting to get on my nerves.
Any updates to this? A friend of mine and I both have Nari Ultimates, his THX Spacial stopped working 2 days ago and mine stopped working today. We have tried all the trouble shooting methods that we can think of and find through Razer's site, but nothing is working, the headsets are basically only good for voice communications now.

I wonder whether a coördinated bout of complaining to customer services might be needed because we otherwise don't know whether the problem has even been noticed
I am also having the same issue wtih a blade 14 after updating to windows 11, loading icon keeps spinning. Found out in windows event viewer that the app returned error (access denied or something) but can't figure any solutions.

i can’t even download the THX application onto my pc after already paying for it, any ideas on a fix? I bought the razer nati ultimate specifically to use with the THX. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't believe the Windows-application version can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store; THX Spatial Audio for Headphones—which, as i understand it, is what you would be using with your Nari headphones—is served by Razer Synapse, and i think the standalone application is distributed through Razer's website.

I am beyond furious about this. I have been live chatting with Razer back and forth for a week. I own a 2021 Razer Blade Advanced and I also lost function of the THX Spatial Audio app which spins infinitely when you launch it. I even sent them a video of the issue and they have no clue how to fix it. They sold us a laptop with THX and they broke it with a Synapse update and now they are not fixing it. I shouldn't have purchased a Razer.

Their customer support will certainly have not the slightest clue how to fix something like this, which would be less of a problem if they actually dealt with the problems people call in with or provided a portal through which to directly report obvious bugs.
I'm lucky to be able to say that a recent Windows update appears to have mysteriously reënabled spatial audio on my PC, although the broken app very much remains broken.

Yeah I still have sound from my speakers but I can't use the THX Spatial Audio app anymore. I really liked the Music preset with audio levelling set to max because it give a nice little bass thump.

I submitted a synapse log and I ticked the THX option on the log program also. I opened the THX Spatial Audio app after I started the log and I wonder if that would help? My concern is before running the Synapse logger I had already uninstalled Synapse and reinstalled it to see if it would help me with my issue and it did not. I may not have the original issue present in the Synapse log file anymore.

i have same problem and i writed that problem to razer official support chat and they maked fun to me!!! after 6 hours their f..ing asnwer is reboot the thx audio app !!!! we need a thx audio driver for windows 11!!!! all of yours laptops just trash without thx driver!!! my 11 pro max has more and more good sound system!!

bro your fix answer is save your all files and start reboot menu at starting your pc thand start to recovery than your laptop will be deleate and re setup windows then update windows 11 upload you files and open the sound setting menu at setting desktop and replace the thx audio driver re start your laptop. than start you pc and open sound settings and open output sound settings than close sound fix settings. your laptops sound will be puerly good after that. you can easily hear the differances. i do it when my speakers start to just trash alcatel phones sound quality! now just thx app on winows 11 store!! not working there is a loading icon behind the switch of thx stereo and thx spectral audio ,turning always but sound quality so good as it must be

I also spoke for a long time on live chat and they were useless as well. My laptop is Windows 10, I never updated to Windows 11. I do have a recovery partition that I could install but my worry is that Synapse will just break THX again after I format.

It is broken with me too but I am still on Windows 10. My THX app broke after a Synapse auto update one day when booting up my computer. So I do not believe this was caused by Microsoft and instead by Razer pushing a buggy Synapse update.
My Razer Blade 14 also seems to be having a similar problem.

Well you won't believe this but randomly I got a Razer Central auto update when booting up my laptop and now THX Spatial Audio app works like when I purchased my laptop. I don't know if they fixed it for everyone or not. I am on Windows 10 if that helps. I don't think this was a real update, it may have been that Synapse detected the flaw and fixed THX?

I did get that update too, however, it didn't fix the application, nor the Spatial sound.

On the other hand, the 20$ paid application from Razer - https://www.razer.com/p/RZ11-13000-0001 Works perfect, Not sure how to proceed.

I am yet to receive a response from @Razer.Xenon or on my case.
Thx works for me but sounds like utter garbage. Really need it to be 24 bit not 16. It is worse than am radio. Hate having to work around it to get it working but without the awful processing, waste of money, stick to rock hard stereo better than any of these surround sound and spatial gimmicks. I remember the 7.1 surround pro software worked alright several years ago but this thx is absolute crap. Need better quality sound out of it

I don't think they'll ever fix it, they don't have the interest as it's been like this since it came out. Just switch to Boom3D you'll be much happier and impressed
