THX Spatial Audio is not showing in Playback Device list

Hi,

I don't know what had happened but THX Spatial Audio suddenly not showing in Playback device list. Tried asking the customer support but they couldn't be any help and asked me to contact my pc manufacturer. However, I know it is not related to hardware issue because after that I downloaded Razer 7.1 Surround Sound and it works fine.

Anyone knows what actually happened or the software need updates or the Window updates have killed the software?

Thank you.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your concern here. Please check the steps from this thread or perform the following and see if it helps:

a. Search Device manager by using the Windows file search
b. Click any hardware category from the list. (I selected my computer name).
c. Once you've selected any hardware category, click the "Action" button at the top-left and select "Add legacy hardware".
d. A "Add Hardware Wizard" prompt will display, click "Next".
e. The hardware wizard prompt will display options on how would you like to install the hardware driver, select "Install the hardware that I manually select from the list (Advanced)", then click "Next".
f. Select the "Sound, video, and game controllers" from the list.
g. Look for the THX driver from the list, then click next.
h. The setup should be completed and the THX Spatial Audio should be back in the Device Manager list under "Audio Inputs and Outputs" and "Sound, video and game controllers".
Owh my god, it works.

I have lost my words to describe how grateful I am for you.

Thank you very much.
