THX Spatial Audio possible for Blackshark V2 X

Hi all!

My girlfriend (very kindly) got me a new headset as a surprise after my last one broke. Super nice of her, really appreciate it, and she was super excited about getting me one's with surround sound.

I ran into the issue with the 7.1 surround sound crackle bug as a result of Windows update 2004. I know the surround is legacy, and the issue may not be fixed from the forum threads I've skimmed. On the site for the THX Spatial Audio, it says it's compatible with most headsets, but then the Blackshark V2 X isn't included on the "our products this works with" section. When looking at the comparison table between the V2 and V2 X, it doesn't list THX Spatial as a feature of the V2 X.

Just checking to see if it's possible to purchase and use that program on these headphones or if I should try to sneakily order an identical V2 and return the X.

Thanks!

Do yourself the favor of not buying the expensive V2, the Retaining system for the headphone sides gave up after 3 hous of usage and when there is a lot of bass the right side of the headphone starts to make broken noises (crackling as if something is loose). also the THX spatial audio doesnt work. Had to go back and forth with support for more than 1 week only to find out that the only thing to maybe fix the problem by resetting my pc.

Yes, the headset will work with the standalone THX software. That said, there shouldn't be a need for you to get one.

Please update your Synapse as well. Try to perform a clean installation of Synapse, then manually check for updates. The latest one should help with the crackling noise. Shoot me a PM should you need further assistance.
