BAD WORDS. Lot and lots of bad words! For those of us in the States, it's Halloween on Saturday. It's bittersweet this year because in many places, our tradition of going trick-or-treating has been canceled. That also means no costume parties, no gatherings, no bags of candy and spooky stories. The pandemic truly is a terrifying beast. I also recognize that not everyone on Insider is from the States and not everyone is familiar with Halloween. So in order for us to stay within the spooky spirit, I'd like to know your most scariest moment in gaming. It doesn't have to be from a scary game. It could be a scary thing that happened while you were playing or even a nightmare scenario when you lost all your save data. That one still haunts me. This is your Thread of the Week. Aw man, I have reached my daily limit of likes, Oh well, for this week, I was playing Among Us and the imposter just came out of vent while I was right on top of it and so I ran and ran and ran until he blocked me off, but then our sponsor RAID Shadow legends came in and saved the day! Get it no... jk lol, so what really happened was that I died.
amnesia with my friends is soo craaaazy. if someone flinched we switch places and it is the best experience of all time!
whenever I was playing dayz alone and then I hear gunshots and worse when I hear footsteps. bringing a flight/fight anxiety to the next level...
Well, for me is a bit different, mostly "AAAHHHHH" during gaming is when I got killed in Call of Duty by some sniper from no were ...... Or someone jumps up and pops me out when I am so focus on aiming at other guys = = Feels sucks every time..
Outlast 1 should be the worst experience for me.......... "only one way out!", "Feed me=D" etc. As you can only run away from it, unlike most of others which you can fight back, make the whole gaming experience more horrible
I had numerous scary scenarios in my gaming life so far. Recently i got scared by that halloween CoD Warzone event when i opened a chest, a some screaming animation just popped up, and after that i couldnt focus anymore and got killed of course. As for the save files, i recently had to start warcraft 3 reforged story again cause i just reinstalled my os and for some unknow reason i lost my progress when i did.
Silent Hill is NIGHTMARE FUEL. It still gives me the chills to this day thinking about some of the monsters.
Don't call me a traitor but i recently bought the oculus quest 2. I sideloaded a game called project terminus through side quest. Let me tell you. I only have played a little bit. I haven't even seen anything scary. but the music this game plays and the dark hallways really get to you. I majorly suggest it if you own a quest. if enough people are interested I can post a thread on how to sideload games from side quest and make a guide on it.
