Hello friends, The home cinema speaker solutions are impressive, without constraint for ears and earrings. They bring great sound to everyone. But it is expensive and often requires installation in a large room. I prefer headphones because they are inexpensive. They allow to have powerful 3D THX spatial sound and perfectly suited for gaming / voice chat. Because during its use, they make it possible not to disturb those around you. Especially how to resist kitten ears ? ^ _ ^
It is a sound experience that will blow you away!!! Headset just to avoid hearing the clicks of keyboard or mouse. And then you can a mic included with it too right in front of your face.
Headset = When gaming requires communication Speaker = During non gaming, chill, watch Youtube and music
Headset only. I don't even have speakers on my new battlestation. I often play / work at night, so I don't disturb any other users + wireless headset is a great one, because no cables are tangled, and I can move around without taking off my headset
Headset and Speakers both Headset When in the work mode and to disturb nobody. Speakers when in the mood to blast off some rocking songs!
i use headset for gaming.any kind of speakers wont beat the sound canselation and the surround technology feeling with the help of the razer software and the quality from kraken v2 but i was also amazed of how my speakers 5.1 were booming on music and some surround feeling from fire on movies or cinematics effects like that such as the wind.
Funny thing is i own both headsets and speakers from Razer and according to my mood i switch them. But sometimes my gf turns up the volume of the TV and i like to counter her with the sound and bass of the Nommo. Other than that when i'm alone i use headphones all the time.
7.1 Surround Sound and wireless headphones for me - thank you very much. (once I can afford some ) Can you imagine waking the wife and kids at midnight with the gunfire going off in the middle of a Warzone win? COD Warzone would be nothing compared to the one in my house! Or an Army of Draugr coming at me as I squeel like a little girl in the Valheim Swamps....
It's a no brainer tbh. Headsets any day and all day. @Stanull is right too. Speakers are the way to go when it's time to relax with the soundwaves around your chroma lair and not just have then in your ears
I stick to my headset most of the time, however on occasion if I am just lazing around, I connect a couple of speakers to play music through. I mostly like the immersion and background noise canceling offered by headphones.
so, I actually do BOTH. when I play Overwatch I use my Kraken Kitty Edition head set. when I play WarCraft 3 or other games that dont require use of my mic, I use my Nommo Pro speakers.
I prefer a headset. Gives more privacy when in a house with multiple people and increased concentration.
Speakers for me! Love headsets as well but in a long usage it causes numbness on my ears. This also includes the Hammerhead TWH. I have a Kraken X (both analog and USB) and the Hammerhead. Sounds great and I love using them but yep my ears get numb. The only draw back for the speakers are the other noise on our surroundings but it's workable. But NO! Why not just but the HS and Speakers?!? Why are we arguing here? Hahaha!
Both for me. Headset only for gaming because i can hear the surrounding sound of the game and speaker for netflix and chill
Headset at home, so I can put some decent volume without being anoying for the rest of my people. Speakers are only used when we do something together. Outside I'd rather use my pods, they're more discret and easier to tidy.
