Translucency or Ambient Tricks?

Hi guys,

New to Razer and very happy with my purchase so far, minus some minor annoyances periodically.

Problem: I'd like to keep my keyboard static red, but want the brightness to change based on ambient light.

I don't believe there is a light sensor, so Ambient Awareness seems to be ALMOST what I need. But Ambient Awareness copies the colors on the screen. Not quite what I need.

Anyone have ideas? I messed with stacking different layers of effects, but no luck. And I couldn't find a way to make static red translucent with blurred Ambient Awareness providing brightness adjustments "underneath".

Thanks!

Hey there,

First remove all the layers which you added and then add,

1. Static > RED > SAVE
2. Ambient Awareness > make the changes you want in it > SAVE

Remember after saving the stack should look like,
*Ambient
*Static

(In the stack, the bottom layers takes the first preferences and then the rest layers which you gave upwards from there) Its pretty easy, once you get used to it.

The translucence and blurriness depends purely on how to configure while setting it and will only give the results in its own limits.

Cheers!

Not very helpful. I'm attempting to do something similar with Christmas lights (static green with a breathing red). The problem is it NEVER sees the static layer. The only other way I've done it is to have it alternating breathing green and red, the problem with that is the lights go completely dark between and I don't want it to do that.

From what I can tell layers is completely useless because if the top layer goes dark it NEVER displays the bottom layer.
