Freedom of speech does not need to be brought up here.

Razer has a right to have rules and to enforce them which is the issue.

I agree on this one, get rid of them.

So? do we end with a usefull "terms/advice?

    Oddly enough - I do.
When I write up posts that are longer with instructions, FAQ's, etc I tend to keep on eye on the "likes" to see if people really did find it useful or if that particular subject was just a waste of time. There are definitely different kinds of responses to various subjects. :)

As for the rest of the subject, it's just going to be one of those where "you can't please everyone" situations.

However, in regards to the suggestion for an actual support forum, I think it's a great idea!! Now ask me why I don't think it would ever work ... lol
Thing is, folks who don't read the rules or the posting suggestion to begin with aren't going to give a flying fig where they post. Have you all not seen the number Nabu posts in General Discussion, or the number game posts in Off Topic? Or what about the ones to who post the exact same thread in three or four different forums assuming that's the best way to get our attention? I just don't believe for one second that the people who are actually the problems / spam will even make use of a support forum appropriately.

Just wondering if you have any updates on when this will go live?

Just reply to any good questions and you'll get there. It's a community, add to it dont take away.

I started out spamming, then I realized how amazing this community is; and just post for fun and to help add to it.

You'll get there eventually. There are so many different subjects and issues brought up here on a regular basis, if you take the time to see as much as possible then you probably won't have any trouble finding subjects that you actually want to contribute to. Once you start, then it's a habit very hard to break. lol Enjoy!

I started in the community before there were set rewards and then was very surprised how I was already at the headset level when the reward system went live. So like @kajira said you will get there eventually.

Just remove the rewards thing and everything will be solved :D

    NO! :mad_:

I just think it would make people mad if they removed the rewards.

The retaliation would be more spam from people angry that the rewards are gone

I actually like the reward system as it is because the type of posts that I make I consider them very valuable to the Razer community and company. Likes are hard to come by, which is why I have completely abandoned facebook.

As far as the reward system. It would be nice to be able to get some type of quality rating on the posts. More than just a "like" from a fellow user. Like a value system from Mr. Tan or the other Admins.

I would have disagreed a week ago, but now I have to totally agree with you. 100% I don't even see any need for a separate support category.

I've since become enlightened to the meaning of "support thread." What it really appears to mean is "whining thread." People making them whine about some misfortune in an attempt to get free hardware or repairs outside of their standard warranty. It amazes me that some insiders have so little self respect and such an enlarged sense of entitlement as to embarrass themselves this way. So yeah, I stand corrected. Straight into the waste bin with that :hankey::hankey::hankey::hankey:
